Before After

Really, Body?

Imagine my surprise when I went to the restroom today and discovered that my little friend had arrived...2 weeks and 1 day since its last visit.  WTH?  Oh perimenopause - you are WAY too much fun!!  Seriously though, WTH?

I saw Tara this morning for the first time in 4 weeks.  I'm quite sure I'll have trouble moving tomorrow.  It was a great workout though.  I'm so happy to be returning to my regularly scheduled workouts.  I do need to run tomorrow - it will be the first time since the marathon.  In fact, I have a race a Sunday - Falmouth in the Fall.  It will be my first point to point race.  We are bussed from Falmouth to the start of the race in Woods Hole.  My run buddy Julie will be doing it with me.  Hopefully I can keep up with her!  Oh - the forecasted high temperature?  47.  Brrrrrrr!!

I'm going to spend some time commenting on your blogs this evening.  I am limiting my internet usage at the office - mainly because I'm a little busier now, but since no one knows what happened to my coworker, well...

It seems like you had a nice time in SF! And congrats on the marathon! Maybe that will be me next year!

Falmouth

When you are there look for the big Yellow house at 480

Main Street.....It was my Grandma's...but she died about the same time as my mom...it went to my Uncle (my Dad's half brother....but he got cancer too...so I'm not sure what the condition might be......but I have some great memories of that place.

Have fun

Have fun at your race this weekend.  I hope you aren't too sore from Tara.  Good luck, too!

Friends

With friends like that who show up whenever they feel like it, who needs enemies!  LOL!

I'll be waiting anxiously for your race report!  Reading about it might be just what I need to get back on track!  You are, after all, my running model!  I strive to be like you!

Take care!
