Just Because You Think You Can
doesn't mean you should actually do it. Note to self: walking from the MGM Grand back to the Wynn - 2 miles with stairs & crossover bridges - in heels is a bad idea!! I took my shoes off about halfway because my heels were getting ripped up - although pounding barefoot on the pavement isn't good for my knees or Achilles! Oh well, at least I ran this morning so I don't have to do it tomorrow!
Things in Vegas are great - and hot! Spent a couple of hours in the sun yesterday and today laying down a nice base tan - don't want to get burned - that wouldn't be good!

Be careful!
I don't think there is very much worse than walking in shoes that hurt your feet, especially long distances! You take care out there and have a great time!

Been there, done that!
LOL..and mine happened on vacation too! Not with high heels, but with flats that were not completely broken in...it was at a flea market in CA, and had to take off my shoes and walk on gravelly asphalt! I had to buy a pair of slide sandals and couldn't let anything touch my heels until after gettting home from vacation! Yep...that's one of those big "notes to self"!
Glad you were able to get past that and run! Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Off with the shoes
I've done the same thing, many times. Can't handle the heels any more. I only have one pair of black heels in case of a wedding, funeral, or interview. Glad you're having a great time in Vegas!
