That's right...I've put out a contract on myself to lose this last 37 lbs over at Stickk. It's a website where you make any kind of commitment, choose a referee and add friends to be notified of your progress. You can put money on it too, but I didn't do that. Jerel heard about it from NPR, and I thought it was a great idea.
Today was my first day sticking to the JC plan 100% (in a long time), and it has gone really well. I had a salad at lunch and lots of roasted veggies with dinner. I'm feeling great and really motivated to get to my goal.
I cleaned out my closet and drawers today. I had plenty of things to get rid of - some shirts that were too big, the Ann Taylor Loft pants I bought back in October (size 14), etc. txlass - I have some things for you!
My workout goals for this week are:
Monday - BURN
Tuesday - personal training with Tara
Wednesday - run (hopefully outside)
Thursday - strength training
Friday - run
Saturday - strength training, Pilates

I love you! :) I've been thinking about you all weekend! I have to pay $5.00 for 10 minutes of internet access, so I've been "el cheapo" about it, but just logged on and wanted to say hi! Love your plan! Can't wait to check out that webiste! I also am so excited about meeting you next month! Good girl for cleaning out your closet & drawers! I need to clean my closet out so badly!!! You had asked which information I was sending for. It's ISSA, International Sports Sciences Association. Other folks have given me other ones to look into. Am sure this is going to take some time.
Was going to have dh take a picture of the weight, but figured that would be just straight up vain. Can we say muscle head? I promice I'm not being vain it still shocks me, but it would probalby appear that way. It was on a pin machine. (those are easier for me. Do you find that to be the case too?) I can't even begin to get close to that on the plated squat machine. And I'm not going in there to be like "oh, let's see how much more I can lift today" but BFL says to increase with each set. Well, the increase just keeps going up. I'm curious though....is it because I'm getting stronger, or did I limit myself in the beginning? Hmmmm.... you know what I mean? I just wish the muscle would get a serious appetite for the fat soon. I'm really tired of that extra layer. (or two) I keep hearing about how it just starts to go away, but so far, that is not the case for me. Just need to keep going strong huh? Even if it takes 14, 16, 20 weeks, I just need to keep going strong!!

Hey Andrea - Haven't been around in a little bit, but I'm happy to see you are still plugging away and not letting the weight stagnation get you down. You know what you have to do and you are doing it by making this commitment to yourself and writing it down. I know you will get off the last little bit of weight. Take care :-)

I think it is a great idea! You are breathing down the neck of your goal! Your workouts and run training look fantastic (as usual!) and 100% JC, gosh I can't remember what that is like. I bet it feels great!
