Travel Girl's Saturday
Well, I am happy to report that I was only up 1.1 lbs at my first "official" weigh-in in 6 weeks at JC. Onward and downward!
I am also happy to report that I was able to walk this morning - which I didn't think I was going to be able to do after my run last night. I wasn't even sore, and my knees didn't ache. This morning I had a Pilates reformer class and afterward I did an hour of strength training.
After my workout I stopped at Starbucks and saw someone I worked with when I first moved here 10 years ago. He glanced at me, looked away and when he looked at me again he realized who I was. He said he didn't recognize me!
Not much else going on. Tomorrow I really need to work on my photos, and it's time to clean the closet out again too.
Speaking of time...

Hey Gorgeous!
I have been a serious blog slacker and I apologize, but as you know my life has sucked a little lately. 5 miles! So awesome! Woo Hoo! AND you gave blood that week, that will slow you down a bit you know! The body has to put quite a bit of energy into replacing that volume, but you are saving lives so it is totally worth it :o)!
Anyhoo, 35 days until Zoo Zoom! I am so excited! It is going to be so awesome! I need to book a room and we need to figure out where the pre-race carbo loading is going to happen! Best damn part of these things! Of course, I have been carbo and fat loading for weeks now. Got to reign in the madness.
I checked out your other blog. Umm, was that a tumbleweed I saw roll by on your page? Pretty barren. Let's get posting, and it is so easy to put pictures up that you could show us some Antartica pictures, even a cool little slide show widget from picasaweb! Free and awesome (really need to expand my vocabulary)
Thank you for your kindness and support through my "life suckage". It means more than I can tell you. Or more than I DO tell you since I am a comment slacker as well.
Run Baby Run!
