Where my Journey begins...
I am starting my weight loss journey out on Sunday March 22,2009. Since 2005, 3 babies later, I have let myself go. I went from 135 to 209 in 4 years. I never gained a whole lot of weight with any of my pregnancies but I did afterwards but I never pictured myself to be over 200 pounds ever. Once I got pregnant with my first I just got so busy with everything else, I stopped thinking about myself and caring about myself. I let myself go. After I had Mady I weighed 229, I lost 20 pounds afterwards from the post pregnancy stuff, and that put me at 209. I immediately started working out, eating right and doing everything I could to lose weight as soon as I felt like I had recovered well enough to do so, about 3 weeks after Mady was born, and still didn't lose one pound. A lady that my husband works with told me about a weight loss dr she had gone to that had prescribed Phentermine and she had being losing weight with it. So I had doubts about it because everything I had tried before never worked for me...but I went and got the prescription and the dr put me on the same diet that I had already been doing and the same work out plan, so basically all I had to do was take medicine. I have been and almost 2 weeks later, I have lost 11 pounds so far.
I want to reach my goal of 135 by September 6, just in time for our 4 year anniversary. I know that I can do it. I need to stay focused. The only problem I am having right now is finding the time to work out. its hard to find time to even go to the restroom around here with 3 little ones. lol. I plan to keep track of my progress through extrapounds.com as well as phentermine.com, and myfitnesspal.com as I hope to find support and encouragement from others that are in my same situtation. As well, as I hope to be a encouragement and support for others.
My blogs will not only be for my personal purposes as far as my good days, my bad days or days that I just need to vent or just need to get stuff out but they will also serve as hopefully inspirations to others. So if there is anything that I may say or put on my Blog that may offend you please don't take it as an offense towards you or towards anyone personally cause keep in mind this is my personal blog. I will post a weekly updates on weight loss as well as a weekly photo of my progress in my weight loss photo album1 (on extrapounds.com) as well not only for my own purposes but for those of you who want to know as well.
