Confidence boosting.
I've been inspired by several posts, both here and on a message board I frequent - I'm going to start every entry for the next 100 with something I like about myself.
1) I am incredibly tenacious. A lot of people would have, after reaching 30 and not being any further than sophomore status, given up on getting a degree. Not me. I took that milestone birthday as an invitation to dial the intensity up and overload myself, but not as an excuse to give up.
In other news, I still haven't made it to the gym this week. I have a date to go with a friend tomorrow, so that should help me get my rear back into gear. Yay!

Thanks for the boost
Hi..
Thanks for giving us the boost about getting the house. We go tomorrow to talk to one more person about a loan for the house. It is with a special agency that works with people in our situation. The other lady said that she has talked with this new lady quite a bit about our situation and they both feel that we have a good shot at getting financed. So I will know more tomorrow...after we find out I can go back to working on weight loss...the stress of the house and the stress of losing weight has really wore me down..so I am hoping for good news tomorrow...cross your fingers and toes for us...and good luck with your training..and I also wanted to say that I know how you feel about being a sophmore and 30...I am 32 and I just started back to college..Jolene

Aspiring to be a gym rat.......
and you are looking for the great outdoors!
I'm super excited that you are pumped on your training for May. WOW. Isn't it great to have a defined goal?!
Now let's hear you report on how your workout was at the gym with your friend!!!
I have been stuck at 195.4 for 8 days now.. how does THAT work when I could normally fluctuate just between days? maybe the scale is broken. haha. I am goign to try little bursts of exercise today to see if I can't push myself through the plateau because I KNOW that this is not the "normal body weight" where you just can't push beyond and lose more!
Hope you have a good week! Mine should be settling down so I can get back on the exercise wagon, and EP

How's it been...?
Quiet from your corner of the 'net... hope things are going well for you. Did you get to the gym yet? This week is "2 miles week" - I satisfactorily have stayed on top of it!! Have a good week.

Tenacity...
You know, I had so many friends go into a deep depression at hitting 30 and leaving their 20s behind, but I actually LIKED turning 30 and my only regret was that I didn't have the guts at 20 that I did at 30. Here's to being tenacious and to keeping trucking!
