Before After

No Scale Wednesday!

Since I'm not a big veggie eater, I love my soups - they fill me up and get me eating without thinking about it too much. I use my Mum's old pumpkin soup recipe - you use pumpkin, potato, sweet potato & onions, with a little chicken stock cubes & water, as well as some light evaporated cream to mix in. It's good calorie-wise, and tastes beautiful.

And my damper? So easy. 3 cups SR flour and salt, rub in 30g light marg, add in 1.5 cups of skim milk and that's it! Fold it into a lump, whack it in the oven for 30-40 minutes and you're done. They're really, really REALLY good. Perfect for winter. I'll be taking that recipe over to England with me!

Today's food - weetbix, tea, light microwave popcorn bag (100cals, YUM!), green apple, banana sandwich, pumpkin soup & damper for dinner.

Today's exercise - 3.1km walk in 30 minutes.

Soups

I'm not a big pumpkin fan, but that does sound filling.  If you like mushrooms, I'll dig out my mom's curried mushroom soup recipe for you.  Dee-lish!

Phentermine aka Duromine. Amphetamines in general.

Hey yeah we're practically neighbours!! Hehehe. Phentermine is the active ingredient of Duromine, a weight loss drug that speeds up your metabolism by speeding up your heart rate. It definitely works, I lost 7kg in the first month, as it makes you not want to eat anything and exercise instead. However....and this is the big however....when you come off the drug you body slows back down to normal and if you've been on it for a month or two (yes only that short a time) your body becomes fatigued (as it feels like your doing a jog 24/7). This means your body slows down even further. So you regain your appetite and start eating but your body's metabolism isn't able to burn the extra calories so you gain weight furiously. It also disrupts normal hormone production and so disrupts your thyroid. In short...its the legal form of speed, just without the halucinogens.

Hope that helps and if you hear of anywhere on it I would strongly recommend stearing them away! :P

Yummy

That soup sounds good. I did try your banana sandwich and was surprised at how good it was... I ate two. :P hehe

Happy belated birthday! And your pic looks good... even if there isn't body...

That's good that you're putting away the scale for a month because of the frustration. I think you're doing great and will definitely see a loss in kilos at the end... inches too.

Hope you have a great day!

WEIGHING....

great job for sticking to your goal of not weighing yourself.  did you have to hide your scale, like i did?

Just stopping by.....

To say hello to you!  I hope all is well with you and that you are feeling better .....Take care and I will stop by and see you again, real soon!

Have a great day!
