Before After

Yep - Sick Again!

But I'm powering on, thanks to lots of water, lots of tea, vitamins and a stack of cold & flu meds.

I did the 45 minute CardioParty after spending a while wondering if I should exercise or not, but figured if it became too difficult to breathe, I could always just stop. Finished it okay, though.

Breakfast today was the usual - toast w/ lite marg & veg, cup of white tea, lunch was a banana sandwich and some diet coola cordial. For a snack, I made a Weight Watchers 2point lemon pudding which was just beautiful! Dinner tonight was going to be out at the local RSL club with my gran, but because I'm feeling so blah, I'll stay home and have some pumpkin soup with damper instead. I've been drinking lots of water today too, hopefully to flush the cold away. (I've had so many sick days this year, I can't afford to take any more time off work!)

I have a feeling I'm going to be thoroughly disappointed with tomorrow morning's weigh in. I haven't got anything to feel guilty about - everything that I put in my mouth fit into my calories/points plan for the day, and I know that I've burned a fair few calories exercising too. (The stiff muscles prove it!)

But that hasn't stopped me from checking in on the scales of a morning, and being disappointed with higher numbers - in the high 84's and even 85's! It's not TOM, I've not changed my diet in the slightest - so what's going on here?

Regardless of what the numbers say, I'll push on...

TOM?

Maybe you have hit a plateau?
I have also noticed it seems easier to lose weight if you do not constantly eat very little but one day save on calories (points) and then eat a little more the next day, that keeps the metabolism active. At least it works for me.
What you eat always seems very little to me compared to what I eat, and you seem to work out more. Maybe your metabolism has slowed down to better (more efficiently) use the calories you feed your body.
What is TOM?
