Today was such an awesome day - no, nothing special happened - just me, the boy, some cleaning and some companionship. Since Jase and I don't live together, we don't get to do "couple" type things very often .. so it's sort of nice when we get the chance to mosey around the house and do what grown-ups do! (Forget the fact that he's 25 and I'll be 23 in a couple of weeks!)
Tomorrow morning I will be weighing in and posting the results of last week's splurges. I have been doing a good job though, as of Friday - so it'll be interesting to see if my weekend of being back on track will have made a difference. I'm determined to get to 80kgs soon, though. Hopefully I'll be on my way there in the next few weeks - I'd love to get to that weight around my birthday. (31st July)
I have some exciting news - as of today, I have completed my AARP "get fit on route 66" challenge. Basically it tracks your progress in minutes to do the entire road trip across the USA. (1 minute of exercise = 1 mile of your journey) Try this link if you want a fun way of tracking exercise!
Here are some of my stats:
Start Date - March 12th, 2007 End Date - July 8th, 2007 Days Recording Exercise - 74 Minutes of Exercise - 2451
I'm so excited that I actually finished! If it will let me, I'm going to sign up again just so that I can keep the progress track. I like to know where I'm going.
Today I walked for 30 minutes, and ate well - toast for breakfast, saos w/ lite cheese & veg for lunch, homemade tacos for dinner. Snack was about 10 sakata crackers.
I'm back on track, everyone! *cheers*

Yay for the return of positive Aly!! You can do this and you know it. You've got the drive, determination and will power to make your goals, and I for one am proud of you. Cheesy? Perhaps. Warranted? Absolutely.
