Not the progress I would have hoped for...
So I'm really not getting into this whole weight loss thing like I had hoped for. I don't know what my problem is. At certain times of the day I feel so motivated, but then at other times I feel like just doing what's easy. I get lazy, that's my problem. It's easier to go out to eat or pick something up then to take the time and prepare a good, healthy meal. I'm working on it though, I really am.
My mom bought me a Weight Watchers cookbook that has weekly meal plans and recipes. I need structure, so I think having a plan with different ideas to go on will really help me. I'm planning on driving home this weekend and picking the book up, of course I'll have with the family too. Hehe. Well, that's all I've got for now. Hopefully my next post I'll have better progress to report.

Maybe Jenny could help you?
Hi!
Your post sounds just like me! I don't have the time or energy to plan healthy meals. Let's face it. In this day and age, if you want it quick and easy, it generally isn't going to be healthy.
Jenny Craig seems like the answer to that problem for me. I'm still in my first week, but not having any trouble sticking to it. Sure, since I was used to snacking at my desk constantly throughout the day, it's been a re-training process for my stomach, brain and hand, but I feel that I'm making progress.
Just a though. Everyone is different and we all need to find what works for us!
Good Luck!

Lazy Me
Hey girl, Thanks for the comments on my blog. yeah I am the same way. I always tell myself "ok today when I get off work I'm going to work out , take a shower, make dinner THEN watch tv." But usually 8 times out of 10 I get home change clothes and make dinner. Old habits die hard and making new ones is even harder. We just have to train ourselves to take the "road less traveled". I think once the weight starts to come off you will have more motivation to help you make the right choices. Everytime I went down a dress size I felt THAT much more determined to reach my goals. And hopefully one day I will :) Best wishes!

I have to agree
They both said the same thing "you have to train yourself" and thats so true!!! Youre stomach, your body and your mind will do what its told to do, and only you can tell it what to do. otherwise, they will stick to the same routine as usual. weight loss has got to be the single most difficult road to travel. but you can overcome this. youre an incredibly strong person and if you put your mind to it, which you always do, you WILL succeed in this. you want it too badly for it not happen for you. plus, you have support.
now i ask ya, what's ur problem?? hehehe!!
