Before After

Sorry I dropped off the face of the Earth

I do have a reason for my absence since May.  In April I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and then in June I had another miscarriage at 5.5 weeks.  In July I went to my Reproductive specialist about possibly starting a low tech regimen in Aug or Sept and he said that I was ready to me monitored (I have a blood clotting disorder that was effecting the pregnancies from conception). So I started monitoring and on Aug 14th I received the news that I was pregnant again.  I am happy to announce that I am now 22 weeks pregnant!!

I went from 176 to 186 during the time of the miscarriages.  I then went up to 197 during monitoring and meds with my fertility doctor.  I dropped down to 191 and I am now at 201.  I am not happy to be back in 2-ville but it is for a good reason.  Monday, at my OB visit I was ay 202.5 so I have lost 1.5 lbs this week.  The same thing happened to me when I was pg with my DD.  I had this HUGE 8 lbs gain, in 1 month and then I started to lose it and only gained a total of 17lbs through the entire pg with her.  I am hoping for the same thing to happen this time.

I was hoping to keep up with exercising but my OB basically put a stop to it when I started to have cramping, contraction and my cervix started to shorten.  I can do water aerobics and swimming.  I would do it but it is so freaking cold outside, in NY that I do not want to go to the gym and leave all wet and get pneumonia.

I promise to update again so.  I also want to get a new belly bump pic to show off sometime this weekend.

swmming

I blow dry my hair under the hand dryers so I don't get sick this time of year if I go swimming.  Just a thought if you really want to keep swimming
