Day 13 - Lost the Plot
Think I'm back to where I started. Totalling lost the plot and have been eating pizzas, chocolate, bad, bad food.
Going to take a couple of days as a breather and start at Day 1 again on Monday.
I need to find a way of telling myself no, no, no!

Day 12
Last night I fell flat on my face/bum big time - sesame prawn toast, special chow mein and a massive Aero bar. Bad bad stomach this morning!
Woke up with a cold which probably explains why I wanted food, food, food.
Early night for me I think - will curl up with a good book and furry kitty.

Day 11 and struggling
Random "naughty" food is coming into my head. It's like all the cravings have come at once. It's like there's the "fat me" arguing with the "thin me" - I definitely have a split personality!
The doubt has struck today which hasn't helped. Plus, its cold, wet and downright miserable. I'm suffering SAD in the middle of summer and having to use my Brightspark - that just isn't right!
It's been a long time since I yearned for a holiday in the sun, but I'd so wish to be able to just get on a plane and find myself in a sunnier landscape.
Oh well, it can only get better
Just got to make it through today.

Day 10
And I've come to realise that I must listen to my doctor. Why? Because the last few days I have been following a low cal diet that is higher in carbs and now I feel awful, am bloated and "swollen" and very heavy - it's like I'm walking through water! I dare not go near the scales, but if I did I would know that it's all water retention.
So today, I go back on the low carb. Had a couple of poached duck eggs for breakfast and wow, are they lovely
Lunch is a pack of Go Lower Chicken, Tomato and Pepper in White Wine. Dinner is going to be a big prawn salad with a tablespoon of chilli mayo. I've really taken to salads due to the chilli mayo.
Have had to take a water tablet, bah!
So onwards and downwards hehe

Day 9 - whoops
Oh dear
I let the chocolate attack last night - ate about 150g of the stuff! At least I'm within calories but the carbs will be a killer on the water retention I suffer so much from. But in victory, I lasted 7 whole days without any 
Today is a new day and I'm all ready for it. I would really like to get below the 19 stone mark by the end of July. That means losing around 2lbs every week for the next three which is not impossible. Admittedly, on the diet I am on I am supposed to lose a stone or so a month, but I'm not doing it 100%, modifying it slightly to suit my needs.
Here's to another day!

Day 8
And all is well. I've been so tempted by chocolate - it's strange how food just seems to be everywhere. Not all healthy, but mainly the bad stuff.
Just come back from seeing Prince Caspian. Managed to avoid the food counter but alas, meant I have only just had lunch at 1600 hours - whoops!
Shall keep this one short :)

Day 7
Well, a sneaky kebab attacked me last night. There I was innocently sat at my computer and next thing I know I'm eating a load of lamb and chicken tikka kebab, plus the naan. Now to be fair, the lamb and chicken were within the diet allowables but the naan - oh dear. But it was lovely and I enjoyed it. I'm not sure how much damage one naan can do but to be honest, probably not a lot at this stage. Figure as the weight drops off, it will be harder to get away with such things.
Onwards and upwards today :D Day 7 and all is well. Going to see mother today so what I eat will not necessarily be under my control. I doubt she will push the food like she used to. Since dad died, she's stopped being so pushy. Apparently, my dad, when he was in hospital, told her that she was not helping by offering me food all the time. I guess it may have hurt her to hear that but it is true. No one wants to upset their mum and my mother used to get upset when I refused food. Anyone know Father Ted? Well my mum is Mrs Doyle. It's all out of love I know, sigh!
Weather is awful - typical British weekend. But hey, the flowers I bought earlier in the week are still brightly decorating my desk so it feels like a sunny day :D

Day 6
And after my fight against the breaded evil last night, I have woken up bloated. Stupid water retention! Still it's just a bit of bloat and will pass.
Wow, Friday already :D Work has been quiet lately and I'm hoping it picks up soon.
Still positive about the diet - it is early days but I feel determined.

Good job it's nearly bed time. My love of all things bready and cheesy will be the death of me, literally. Guess I could have an ounce of cheese

Day 5
Wow, day 5 already! Doesn't time fly. I was a bit naughty yesterday and had some tangerine jelly (jell-o in America, I think), and it was not sugar free :O Again, back in ketosis this morning, phew! I guess the sugar gets pretty much deluted but it still had sugar in.
So, that's one slip up on my sugar mission. Next time will get sugar free jelly.
Have stocked up on healthy snack bars - they contain that natural substitute sweetener that comes from plants - ooh, begins with O. Not Stevia as that is banned in the UK. Well it isn't a polygol and it is not sugar so next time I feel like something sweet, I can have one of those.
The weather has turned. But I'm sure it will pick up again once Wimbledon is over. It's nearly weekend :D Tomorrow is Big Brother eviction night - I don't really watch the programme but occasionally watch live feed and clips on You Tube. I'm definitely looking forward to tomorrow's eviction, oh yeah haha :D
Another day and I know this will be a good one.
