Whale Syndrome

Seriously, my hubby actually ended up waking me up at 0745 hours this morning - doh!  I got out of bed feeling like a beached whale on steroids - had to remind myself that it was bloat not sudden regain haha  Let's just say I'm suffering from fibre overload right now   Times like this I'm glad I work at home!

I'm not cutting down on the fibre though - I'm not eating excessive amounts and it's a good mix of smooth and rough.  Just got to get used to it I guess.

It's sunny   And in time for the weekend - woohoo!  I'd love to go geocaching on Sunday if the weather is good or maybe go to a National Trust place.

Diet going well - the Diet Chef food is incredible!  I had beef meatballs with butter beans and 50g of wholewheat spaghetti and was in heaven - it was just incredible.  I did the McKenna thing of concentrating on every mouthful and chewing it loads.  If the rest of the food is just as good, then I may never want a pizza again

Being bloated is no fun. Good that you are seeing it in a funny way, that always helps!!

Water

Just a little tip.  When you up your fiber, drink more water.  It will help balance out the bloating.  It will also "stimulate lazy bowels", so get ready.  But that extra fiber needs help getting through your system.  Just like a garbage disposal.  You have to run the water to make it work properly.
