Feeling Mellow
Not down in the pit, just firmly on the ground mellow. Watched Spiderman 3 last night and that brought me down the final step - got me feeling really sad and yes, I know its fiction
I'm kind of glad I'm mellow to be honest. Whilst not being diagnosed with bipolar, my moods do swing back and forth and I'm enjoying the unusual numbness I'm feeling at the mo. So this is a positive as far as I am concerned.
14 days - that's how long I have stuck to the diet without a single deviation
Miracles do happen hehe Or should I say we can all make miracles happen. I do not think I have ever stuck solidly and strictly to a diet for that long ever. Seriously, a few days, cheat, a few more days, cheat - that's my normal diet plan. What do I put my miracle down to? Well, that's hard but:-
1. The holiday incentive - got to be thinner by 31 October.
2. Support from my fellow EPers, not just those who comment, but those whose blogs I have read. Thank you.
3. Grapefruit - seriously, being the sceptic I thought this was going to be a load of rubbish, but it has worked for me big time. I don't get cravings - I don't want pizza. What is wrong with me haha I am truly shocked over this effect that grapefruit has on me. Having spent time and money on Acomplia, Reductil, etc. I never would have thought the humble grapefruit would have been far superior. Whether this works for anyone else, I do not know, but I will no longer be without a bag of grapefruit in the fridge.
4. Hotel Chocolat Turkish Delight - it's sickly, gooey and sweet, sweet, sweet. Just 4 pieces hits my sugar spot. Another item I shall always keep in the cupboard.
5. Head - my head is with it and whilst it is, I'm going to ride the wave for as long as possible.
Hope you all have a good day ![]()
