An Accomplished Week

I have not lost nor gained. I am happy about not gaining, not surprised tho on the lack of loss. This past week I met another one of my goals. Matter of fact I exceeded it LOL. I was supposed to do a workout dvd at least 3 times a week and I have successfully worked out every single morning this past week. My walking has cut back abit but I think I have missed 2 days this past week.....not too shabby really. Since I have started working out I am already physically feeling better and more energetic. One of my teammates for March of Dimes started working out and walking some also. He called me this past Wednesday to tell me thanks for talking him into it. He said he is feeling better and more energetic as well so I think that I have someone who will help keep me on track when we are out being social (he is one of my very closest buds!). Hubby is not very good at it. *sigh* Yesterday he needed to get some work done at a client's office. Happens to be a bakery. Everytime he goes out there they load him up with all kinds of goodies. Really they are just trying to be nice and spoil our kids. Sadly, we don't need it and end up acting like crackheads trying to get to it. It's all gone except for the pumpernickel/rye loaf of bread. It's good but I have strayed from eating alot of sandwiches and that's why they sent it to our house. This week I am tackling my next goal which is to reroute my eating habits. I need to eat a salad at lunch at least 3 times during the workweek and work in spinach salads on the weekends at home. I want to build that up to a daily salad at some point, just not yet LOL. I have already thought a bit about next months goals and I have to limit it to just two since its Hell Month. But I have a pretty good idea what those two things will be. Well I must run, I have to get some work done, TTFN!

Hello

Hi Angela. You put a comment on my blog and mentioned you went to good old GB!! TOO FUNNY! What a small world. I am a little older, 35. However, you are closer to my husbands age. He is 34. May I ask your last name or what it was in high school? You may have known my husband or his sister. My husband is Bryan and his sisters name is Roxanne. Ring a bell at all?  What took you from Glen Burnie to Ashville?

You were right, I completely forgot to mention working out on my goal list. Thanks for reminding me. I will add that in there. Good job to you for working out every morning this week.

First off.

Your already so lucky to be in Asheville. That was one of the prettiest places when I was back home to go to. I dont know how the weather is right now for you though, but it's still pretty. Second. great job on the workouts. I dont know how your eating was this week but starting a new workout can send your body in a weird funk too so that might also be why you didnt see a weight loss. And I think salads are always a good thing to eat at least once a day as much as possible just because they are so healthy. The only thing I can suggest that doesnt make me get tired of them is switch up what kind of salad you eat. Like a chicken salad one day and then maybe steak the next time. I know they all come with different points or calories but it helps me not get bored of them. Take care.
