Wake-up at 4:30 am???

Last night I went to Barnes & Nobles to get a gift for my hubby's nephew, its his bday today and the fam is getting together. While I was there I checked out their music section for some Chakra Meditation cd's. Found one out of all of their meditation section. I have been having a hard time sleeping and some of the chakra stuff I have listened to I have found so soothing. I didn't open my chakras, just listened to it (no speaking just music). Sure enough I slept well last night. As a result I woke up feeling very energized....at 4:30 am!!! WTF??? Usually I am  up around 6:30, the earliest I have gotten up is 5 am on occasion. So I found it nice really to have some quiet time. I ended up doing two loads of laundry, emptied and filled our dishwasher (couldn't run it again tho cause not enough dishes in it), I woke everyone up, made lunches for 3 kids AND I did a 30 min workout with Gilad on FitTv. Btw, Gilad is tough. Yes, i am very out of shape....lol I was REALLY huffing and puffing about halfway through. I tried to keep up with his pace but I ended up slowing it down a bit, lest I kill myself. Really my biggest issue was my knees. Both of them were screaming during the lunges. I couldn't even do the lunge as low as they could. Oh well, I will just have to practice....with braces I think. I have to say I like FitTv. I only have bellydance and pilates dvd's and after awhile I get bored with those. At least with FitTv I can find a variety of different things to do and not feel bored.

Well I must go, I plan on tackling my food issues next week and at the rate I am going I don't think it will be an issue. One week of exercise and I am feeling good....good enough to want to make a difference!

Yay!!!

Okay.. so that sounded like a WHEW of a morning! 4:30 am!? I was actually thinking about starting to get up at that time so I can get more of a workout in, but I have yet to do so.....5:30 a.m is enough for me everymorning. I really think I would fall asleep at my desk at work if I got up that early.

Do you have any other favs for On Demand? I just started using it and REALLY like it (as you could see from my blog and my wonderful night with Carmen..hehe.) The other thing we couldn't figure out about it was... do you get charged everytime you click into a exercise video?? I was wayyyyy confused. Which doesn't take much if you ask my husband, but even he was like .hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... because it said we had 23 hours and some odd mins left to view the exercise video before the rental was over??? Have you ever seen that before? Eh.. either way, I really like the convience..lol..

Hey! Good job with the exercise and I really think the good eating habits just follow suit with feeling good..lol!
