Walk on By...

Is a song by Will and Wendy from Fat March that I'm using as my inspiration and "theme" song if you will. You can hear it here...

So today marks day 10 and I'm down 13.3 pounds or almost a stone for those in the UK and I'm beyond excited! Cheers!

So it's been a week and....

I'm still sticking to my Raw Lifestyle and I'm down 10.5 pounds!!!

I feel like I have more energy and I'm ready to make this a forever change to my life as I know I can't go on being this size forever. I'm already excited to go to the mall and try on smaller things and be able to shop in "normal" stores.

So all is well here in the house of Raw.

Day 4 on Raw Completed on Raw 8/20

So it's my fourth day on the Raw diet and I'm loving it! I feel refeshed and there has been no more acid reflux or heart burn which I was suffering from daily before. However I am having some pain in the upper part of my right chest near my ribs and near the belly button not sure what this could be. Hopefully it's the fat flushing out like river...lol.

I've been eating pretty simple meals, a typical day has been like this:

Breakfast:

Banana and a Fruit Smoothie (handful of strawberries and peaches frozen, blended with water and some prunes)

Lunch:

1/4 head lettuce, 1/2 small tomatoe, 1/2 cucumber, pinch of mushrooms, handful of jalepeno slices and cactus flesh strips, bean sprouts, 2 tbsp oil based dressing (goddess or ginger), 1/2 raw corn of the corn (sliced kernels off the cob) pinch of mixed nuts (almonds, sunflower) and dried cranberries.

Snack:

Clementine Orange and spoon full of fresh hummus

Dinner:

Repeat of the salad above

Snack:

Handfull of grapes

Drinking loads and loads of water and an occasional (no more than once per day) small glass of fresh 100% organic juice as a treat.

It's all so yummy, I'm loving all the veggies and fruits and nuts, yum! There is quite a bit of prep time but it's worth it. My dishwasher is empty since there are no more pots and pans and greasy stuff to wash, it's great. Clean up is a breeze.

Plus, I'm down 7.1 pounds already!!! Yahoo!

Tomorrow I'll swim for exercise and repeat the meals above.
