Keepin' on keepin' on!
I haven't updated in a few days, but things are going well! Still taking the Phen as prescribed, no really bad side effects. The only issue I really have is not being able to sleep. I've taken Melatonin to help me fall asleep, but I still wake up a few times during the night, which is unusual for me.
My Wii says I'm down 2 lbs this week so far, which is about 5 lbs total since last Sunday, I believe. I'm not seeing that HUGE loss from this 3 Day Diet thing, but this is Day Three on that, so we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.
I'm really proud of myself, though, I've worked out every day since Sunday, Yesterday, I even worked out twice, since I had my Cardio Kickboxing class last night. I gotta be honest, I was HURTING last night! 
So I'm doing pretty well here, I think, still hoping to be able to wear a bathing suit this summer. One piece for me, of course, but I would love not to feel like I have to wear a tshirt when I go swimming....

Day 2 Down!
Today went pretty well, I think. I woke up and took my Phen, then did 40 minutes on the Wii Fit. I ate sensibly throughout the day, and drank PLENTY of water!
I actually don't think I ate enough, since I was out running errands today and missed lunch. But I am proud of myself because I was at Target, and didn't eat from the snack counter! I almost always get something there, especially since they have fountain Pepsi, and I am a total Pepsi addict, and it's SO MUCH BETTER from the fountain! LOL
Tomorrow, I will give the Three Day Diet a shot, my doc actually recommended it!
All in all, I think today went pretty well, I didn't really feel hungry much, which was great, because I feel hungry A LOT.
On to Day 3!

It's The First Day of The Rest of My Life
Hello! Welcome to my new blog. My name is Maureen, and I am a stay-at-home mom to four awesome kids. I'm 31 years old, and have been married to the love of my life for almost 12 years.
I've been overweight for several years now, and have made a few (very) half-hearted attempts to lose the weight, but nothing ever really stuck for me. I recently found out that my family doctor offers a weight-loss program, and I have heard really good things about it from other patients, so I decided to give it a try.
Today was the first day I have been taking the medications, and so far, so good! I have increased energy, which is nice for me, since I'm almost always very sluggish. I'm going to start journaling all my food tomorrow, and I really need to get to the store to get some better foods, but we're currently snowed in, so I'm doing the best I can with what I have here.
I've been exercising for a while now, I take a cardio kickboxing class 2-3 times a week,and have started using the new Wii Fit that my sweetie got for me.
So please check back often to check in with me, let me know who you are, and what your motivations are for losing weight, and how you're doing! If you have any tips/tricks for me, please share!
