Sigh...Getting back started again
After work and finals got stressful, I pretty much slacked like crazy. Now I'm trying to get back on track. On July 3, I have a reunion with people I haven't seen in about 10 years. I want to look good. We were dancers together, and we were all in shape back then. I've looked at pictures on my old friend's facebook pages to realize they all still look good, but I'm huge. I will be too embarassed to go looking like I do now, so I want to really get down and dirty. I've got exactly a month to try and make myself look presentable. Wish me luck and motivation! I need it big time!

Ups and downs
I went for quite a bit losing weight pretty quickly and easy. It was so motivating and refreshing! But then I gained back 2 pounds and got pretty sick. During the week and a half that I was ill I did no physical activity and ate what I wanted. I gained 2 more pounds, 4 pounds back total and it can really get you down! However, I was awakened today to realize I'd lost some more and I'm almost back to where I was before I gained. It's difficult, but rewarding! I can't wait til summer!

Day 1
Well, it's day 1 of my weight loss journey. Today, I'm eating about 1000 calories, mostly fruits. I have completely cut out soft drinks and fast food out of my diet. I worked out for about 45 minutes today. It was difficult and I'm sore, but I hope to do it every day, working up to longer, harder workouts.

Hard to tell how successful I will be at this point, if at all. But I'm ready to lose weight and get back to where I was 3 years ago - tumbling, athletic, and 120 pounds.
