Not going as planned

Well I've been sticking with my 1250 calories/day, but I have NOT been putting in the exercise and I've been slacking on taking my water pills, these are prescribed by my doctor, I was hoping that I could adjust my diet enough that I wouldn't need them.  I started taking them again yesterday and I'm down 3 pounds I know it's just water but it still helps me stay motivated. 

I have been playing my guitar again which has brought some sort of peace back into my life that I didn't expect.  So mentally I'm feeling great now if I could just get my body to cooperate.

My one major goal for the next 6 weeks is to loose enough so when we go to Michigan Adventure I can actually enjoy myself and be thinking the entire time "Do I look OK, is something sticking out that shouldn't be?" So that goal for me is 15 pounds I know it's not much but I have to start some where.  I will say however that I was ecstatic when I tried on my swimsuit from last summer and the bottoms were too big!  I was at my heaviest last summer at 293 so I'm about 20 pounds lighter so far this year.

Starting over...again

So if you are visiting my blog you may have noticed I've changed some things.  I decided that I need to start totally fresh.  June 16th will be exactly one year since I've joined this site and I haven't been keeping things up to date as there has been too much going on. 
So I'm starting fresh and this is day one of many more to come.  I've finally got my career in a good place, my family is great as ever, and I'm finally physically healthy enough to embark on this journey again.  I went through about 12 weeks of pure hell with contracting Viral Meningitis, then I got Pericarditis and was in and out of the hospital and of course the only thing on my mind was getting well again so  I could spend time with my family and I obviously let my diet slide. 
Well I got on the scale this morning and I was surprised to find that from the last weight I posted here and now I've only gained 6 pounds I was 267.2 and now an even 273. I was for sure that it was going to be more since I haven't been watching what I was eating or exercising at all.
Well I plan on sticking to a diet my doctor recommended.  A low-fat diet with all the fruits and veggies I want and sticking to 1250 calories per day and trying to do get in at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.
