VLCD

On Thursday I started the HCG Miracle program. Its a very low calorie diet (VLCD) and i also take hormone drops several times a day. When i started my workout processes on 1/31/11 i went to the gym three times a week, stopped eating fast food, and swithced to low calorie foods ( with plenty of water throughout the day of course) Well up until I started the HCG on 2/17/11 I had only lost 2 lbs and maintained it. My boyfriends family members (quite a few of them) all started this new program and saw GREAT results. His aunt had lost 50 in 60days and then after the program ended continuted to eat right and visit the gym to keep the weight off. So that is my plan. Ill be tracking my weight everyday (weigh everday at 8am) and posting it here as a visual reminder of my goals/loss. im 2 days in and getting little decreases in weight. Although I am told it takes about 3-4 days for the hormone to fully take effect. So check out my update on 2/24/11 to see what I've lost. :) Hope everyone is having success and great results with their own personal weight loss routine!

Gettin started

Alright well here is my goal: Ive got 30 pounds to lose by April 1st! The reason being that my mom is getting married on the 2nd, sicne I am the MOH and will have oh so fabulous pictures taken of me id like to feel confident and pretty.
My biggest problem has always been my laziness. It wasn't always like this, I used to be so energentic and all over the place, a very "grab life by the horns" kinda girl. In May of '10 I was laid off of work and since I was broke and stressed out I sat on the coucha nd ate just about everyting..... except the couch itself. Now before I was laid off I weighed somewhere between 135 and 145 and i was comfortable with that. I felt perfectly great in my body :) Unfortuantly my motivation was gone and I just continued to eat. Im not one to sit here and rag on and on and make this a whole sad pitty party because I dont look in the mirror and hate myself. I look at that mirror and think to myself about the nothing that I have accomplished and that i need to do something with my life that fun. I have a dog, Im sure she would love to be taken down to the park and played with.... toss the ball around a bit. Even just the walk in general. Afer reading all these "weight loss" stories and tips Ive come to the realization that me sitting around waiting for my motivation and energy isnt going to get me anywhere, but if i go for a walk a few times a week( maybe throw a run or two in there) then I WILL have the energy to complete my goal, be more confident with my body and rock that bridesmaids dress! So here we go.. heres to today! Heres to a healthier, happier me!
