another day

I am happy that I got to mow the lawn before the rain.  I guess I should get a push mower but I have 2 acres to mow.  That would take alot of time with a push mower.  I would rather spend the time in the gym.  A much better workout then push mowing.
 
Today, is going well.  I have watched everything that I am eating and sticking to it.  I have to baby sit tonight so I know I will be good.  LOL  Going to the gym after that.  I am looking forward to gym tonight.  Riding the bike and tredmill tonight.  I am looking into getting a trainer too.

Tired today

I am tired today but I already signed up for another 5k.
I Guess you guys that have already done a 5k are right, its addictive.  I am looking forward to the next one in July.
 
Also, going to the gym today.  Raining outside and I don't like walking in the rain today.

I am home

Today was my First 5K.  I am home and feel great.  I just signed up for another one in June.  I guess Raising money for a cause is really going to help me stay focused.  Its makes me feel good to help others by raising money.
 
Interesting thing happened to me today.  I met a Local Celeb on at the Heart Walk.  I met Mikey Teutul from Orange County Choppers.  I even have a picture that am going to post.

I did it

I joined a gym I just have to go and pick up my membership card.  I plan to start the gym routine on Monday.  I am getting ready to do my first 5k this weekend.  I can't wait.  I have been walking about 4k almost every night this week.  The weather is perfect for getting outside and walking.
 
I am going to the park tomorrow to help setup for the walk on Sunday.  Just found out that I am getting a certificate and going to receive it at the begining of the walk.  Its to honor me and recognize the "life change" I have made over the past year.  I cannot wait to attend this event
 
Life is good my friends!

another day

I went for my walk last night.  I got soaked but I felt great.  Its too easy sometimes no to do things that are good for me.  Before, I would've not taken a walk in the rain.  It was worth it to keep on track.

When I feel like giving up, I remember why I am on this "journey".  I am on a weightloss plan because I want to feel better,  live longer,  enjoy life more and look better.  When I first started my "journey", I just wanted to weigh less.  Now that I have taken off 140lbs and know what its like to live a healthy life, I never want my weight to get in the way of enjoying all that life has to offer.  I feel better now then I did when i was in my 20's.
 
I want to thank all of you for making a change in your lifestyle and all the support you have given me.
 
Today, I will go for a walk in the rain.  I will sign up for the gym membership tonight.
 
I will reach my goal this year.

Wi for the week!

I have been back on my program for 1 week now.  I must say that I do feel much better.  More energy and less bloated.
Dinner Saturday night I did stay on my plan.  Its great getting together with friends and family having a great time and staying on my plan.
 
Yes, I am down this week.  I do love the first week back loss of 14lbs.  As they say in the biggest loser, I am going to hate week 2.

Back on the plan for 4 days.  Down 10lbs.  Biggest loser is motivating me and going out for a dinner on Saturday with a bunch of old friends.


I also had my wife buy me clothes that are 2 sizes too small so I have to work to get into those.

Day 1

LOL...............its my first day back since the Holidays.
I am up a few pounds since the holidays but it was so worth it.
I am back on plan and the first day back is going well.
I have to make sure I drink all my water.  No real problems today.  I just feel like eating.  I have to remember that is what got me here in the first place.
 
I am looking forward to dinner on Saturday.  I am going out with the family.  I will stay on plan but it is nice to have someone else make me dinner.   LOL
 
Good to be back.  Life is GOOD!!
