Master Cleanse Take 2

So since I've been feeding my body unhealthy foods, again! I decided it was time to go on this cleanse. It was a last minute decision. Yesterday after I realize I was stuffing my face with 3 slices of cheese pizza and 4 krispy kreme donuts and didn't care anything about it, I figured it was time for me to get myself together!

So here I am on day ONE on the Master Cleanse I'm only doing it for 6 days. I didn't prepare myself mentally for this so hopefully I can last that long! I can't remeber how long I did it last time I think it was 2 weeks and I managed to lose 13 pounds! Although I did gain half of it back, when I started back eating. I still felt great afterwards! I wasn't planning on doing another cleanse until June so I'm just getting a head start!

I stepped on the scale again this morning (my addicition is back in full force!) I managed to lose a pound in a day, however I'm going to leave my start weight of the cleanse at 194.

Now my only problem is picking back up my execise! I haven't exercised since Wednesday To be honest I really don't feel like exercising. I missed yesterday's workout and I don't feel like doing today's. I was suppose to run yesterday but I really don't feel like getting on that damn treadmill I prefer to run outside(itmakes the time go faster) but it is hot as he%% down here. I know for sure I'll run outside tomorrow!  I really want to make up for it and then again I don't. I guess I will see how I feel the rest of the day.  Well I'm going to attempt to catch up on some blogs.

Couldn't think of a title, lol.

I've been crazy busy and I still am. Just wanted to do a quick post!

I ended up letting the stress and my busy schedule take over and the end result was a 2 pound gain! I did terrible with my eating last week and only exercised 3 days last week. I'm not upset it could have been worse. I just wish I would have handled the sitaution better. However I know the end result will be worth it, well sort of I'll be stress free and fat, lol! I'm still not back on track I know bad. But I will be before this week is over!

Anyhow the surprise for my DH turned out great and I bought a really sexy dress to wear @ the concert. I will post the pic later. I look good and I know I do!

I know I havent been blogging lately, not like anybody has been reading, I'll be sure to catch up on everyone's blogg as soon as I get a chance, I can't wait until this week is over!

If Not Now, When?

Okay so lately I've been mad busy! I sometimes wonder how do I make it through the day.

My DH pissed me off today! He suggested that I put my exercise on hold because I have to much on my plate right now and that I should focus on one thing at a time. I couldn't believe the things that were coming out of his mouth. Was he serious? I mean if anything he should be supporting me not helping me make excuses! Anyhow I have to admit I almost listened to him today and was about to put my exercise off for today and maybe even for the week! I'm glad I didn't think about it too hard. I decided that even though it was late I was going to get my exercise done and I did!  Anyhow speaking of DH everytime he comes home I notice that I fall off the wagon. Whether it be with exercising or eating. This time it's been with eating. Although I did really well at the B-Day party ever since then my eating has gone down hill and I mean down hill! I don't know what it is that causes me to just screw everything up when he gets here but I do, and it needs to stop ASAP! All my hard work is going in vain. I don't want to blame him for my actions because it's not his fault. I really need to take control of my actions and discipline myself when he is here! Although I know its not good to step on the scale too often, however I did because I really needed a reality check and I got one! I'm up on the scale and it's not a pretty number.  I just hope that I get my self together for the rest of the week and hope that I  can get back down to the weight that I was on Monday!

Tomorrow is my extra day of exercise but I have no idea how I will fit it inDue to the fact that I have done so bad with eating thise week I need it!  I have to take the kids to daycare early because they are taking photos, then we are off to the doc's office for both of there checkups. Then from there we are going to a state park that has a man made beach so we are going on a picnic and take my son to ride his bike and possibly get in the water. After that we are dropping the kids off and I am taking my DH shopping for something to wear to the Jaheim and Avant concert he knows nothing about and cooking him a surprise dinner before we head off. I'd figure it was necessary to have a family day and date night. Since I was kind of neglecting my DH these past couple of days. Hopefully he appreciates it. I will be glad when next week gets here things will have settled down and hopefully things will return back to normal. I have already planned my meals for tomorrow so that is a good thing, if I stick to it!  Well I gotta go hope everyone is doing better than I am, take care!

20 Pounds Gone!

I never thought I would get to this point! I really didn't want to brag( but 20 sounds good) until I reached my half way point which was 185 especially due to the fact that I gained a few pounds before I got started. I plan to take progress pics when I reach that point!

As of now my DH is right here by the computer so now I can't talk about him. Lol He is so nosy and then tries to pretend not to be. Anyhow today was my weigh in and I managed to lose 1.5 to that drops me down to 192.0!  Finally I reached a big number it took me so long to get to this point! My first month I started I didn't lose ANYTHING! Even the months after the weight just didn't want to come off, I'm surprised that I hadn't given up then because I had a lot of ups and downs, I mean a lot. However now it seems like I'm on a steady roll! I just hope it keeps coming off. It's coming off slowly but I'm content.

Today I really wasn't looking forward to running on the treadmill and I didn't feel like driving to the park that I usually run at so me and DH decided to just run outside around the neighborhood. It's been along time since my DH has ran period so I didn't think he would be up for the challenge. I wasn't going to slow up my program for him, I know that was selfish but he did pretty good. As soon as we got 15 min in we got a call from our Alarm company letting us know that our alarm had went off. At that moment I then realized that I left the garage door open. Damn we were too far from the house to get back in time to make sure that, that was the case. So DH put a speed on it, I tried but I couldn't go any faster. Anyhow it was a false alarm and thank GOd it was nothing else. I just kept running like nothing was going on(you can tell that I'm serious about running) . Anyhow we did manage to beat the cops there but we still got a notice. After a while you start getting charged for false alarms.

Anyhow todays run was good but it could have been alot better! I managed to run the whole 25 min! I really enjoyed running outside it makes the time go by faster. I also noticed that you can't cheat outside because you have nothing to hold on to, lol. The only thing I will say is that its hard to keep a steady pace, which the treadmil is good for, unless you have a Garmin. I need to start using my pace setter on my Garmin so I can keep my pace and cover more mileage.

Anyhow I hope to have a good week and I wish all of my EP's buddies the same!

Wait do you hear that?.... Some one is calling my name.. Do you hear it? I know I'm not going insane.  Oh wait it's the 180's!  Don't worry I will be there ASAP! I look forward to meeting you all!

Non-Scale Victories

And My Week in Review!

First I want to talk about my week in review. It went pretty good. I was extremely busy. I was planning and preparing for my sons birthday party. I am so glad that is over with. The party turned out great. My son had a blast and all the kids left happy so I'm glad I did my job. I thought I could have done a little better with the organization but for this to be my first party I think I did great. I know for one thing I wont be throwing another party any time soon, let's say maybe a couple of years from now, lol!

Now onto my non scale victories!

I can now fit into a size 14 and even those are loose. I purchased new pants to wear to the party yesterday and realized that I could now fit into a size 14 and will be wearing a 12 any moment now! Also another thing I have tights that now fit loose! Is there such a thing? I thought tights where always suppose to fit tight! I'm not complaing I'm just sayin!

My oher non-scale vicotry is that during my sons party yesterday. I didn't over do it with the eating! I really didn't have nothing to eat, because 1) I was to busy to eat and didn't have time to and 2) majority of the food was meat me and DH forgot to make veggies burgers and veggie hot dogs for ourselves. I only had one piece of cake and I did nibble here and there on the snacks. I know for a fact that I was under my cal intake for the day!

Depsite how busy I was this week. I got all my 6 days of exercise in! Go Me!

And I stayed on plan 6 out of 7 days! ( counting today) I considered myself out of plan yesterday for the simple fact that I didn't write or count my calories however I know I was well under because I ran yesterday and I usually burn 500 or more cals when I exericse so I know I was set for the day! I could have even possibly been under.

Well I plan to have another great week this week. I still have to see how weell I did based on the scale. My weigh in is on tomorrow so wish me luck. I do feel lighter and my body is starting to change and show its true shape again! I even think my stomach is starting to give up and might be siding with me now. I need to do measuerements to see if it budged! Well I'm going to see if I can catch up with all of your blogs!

Happy Mother's Day

Time To Go Run!

 Ookay so yesterday I didn't get any sleep at all! So I wasn't looking forward to running.

I was up the WHOLE night and morning talking to my DH while he was on his way back home! I can't wait to see him it's been a month! So you know what that means!  Trouble... Trouble...

 

So since I finally ran my first 5K DH now knows that I'm taking running seriously and he wants to join in on the fun, lol. He had initially started with me however it is sometimes hard to run where he is located for work. So I already know on our next race I probaly won't set a personal record. I don't want to seem selfish, so I will chugalug with him, who knows he might surprise me!

Anyhow I got my run in late but the point is I got it in! As a matter of fact today was my old rest day but I think I cought my second wind and I'm on a roll so I added an extra day of exercise and wanted it to be something that I could work towards to improve in. I must admit due to the fact that I didin'tget any sleep (and probably won't tonight,  okay I'll stop) The workout was a lil sluggish. I think I did better than the first two times but I know I could have done better. I had to stop a couple of times but at least I didn't stop and give up. Today I added pick me ups to my running. That is when you increase your speed to running for a couple of seconds, ex 30 secs) Well I ran for 25 min so I did picks ups at every last 30 seconds of the 5 mins. My original speed was a 5.0 -5.2 mph and the pick up pace was at a 6.0-6.2. I think I handled those pretty well. I guess over a course of time it helps with your speed.

Anyhow I'm really loving this running lifestyle. I hope to get out on Saturday early morning and get my run in outside for the week!

Other news I have just about everything for my son's party on Saturday. I decided to go with The Backyardigans theme since he loves them so much. It was fairly easy to get everything I needed fot the theme except for the cake. I had to go to 3 Publix's before I could find that particular cake. Anyhow just wish me luck on my eating on Saturday. I plan not to deprive myself however I also plan not to over do it! I'm only eating one plate! No seconds and I'm sending all the leftovers (including the cake) with family and friends! Okay maybe I'll leave a lil piece for my son. Anyhow I hope my son really enjoys his day. Well I must go finish preparing for my DH's arrival. I'll try not to be a stranger while he is here, and I'll try to catch up on blogs as soon as I can. I hope everyone has a great weekend, take care!

Jammed Out!

 

Okay so today didn't go as planned but I didn't let that get in my way!

I woke up late this morning. So I wasn't able to coplete all my exercises. I only had time to complete my Turbo Jam Turbo Sculpt and my 200 cunches and 20 pushups!  So once I got home and got situated. I decided to get the rest of my workout in which was the Turbo Jam 20 min workout!

Oh my God those 20 minutes was a workout! I put my all in and now my calves are hurting! Lol I figured since it was a short workout I might as well make the best of it! So I gave it all I had and burned 215 cals!

With my other workouts this morning that is a total of 525 cals burned!

Today reminded me of how much fun Turbo Jam was. To those of you who are thinking about getting it. Stop thinking and go on ahead and splurge! You will love it! The music is great and the workouts are great! It really feels like you are jamming at a party than execising.

Other than that today was a great day. I didn't quite get my last meal in before 7pm but it was before 8pm so not too bad. Well gotta go in order to make my curfew, LOL!

PUT YO GAME FACE ON!

Have you ever heard that expression before?

 

I got my game face on and I'm ready to kick these extra pounds to the curb!

I've noticed that last month I was geting to comfortable. So I said I was going to swtich things up a bit! But then I realized that I really didn't have a plan. Lately  I 've been seeing everyone post their goals and I thought at least they have a plan and know what to work towrards to. Then I thought I need a plan. Something to keep me on track and a reward (something to look forward to) if I accomplish those goals. 

So here is my game plan for the Month of May!

1st quarter Exercise

Exercise 6 days a week!  My schedule would look something like this. 

Monday: Run 25 min ( with 5 min warm up & 5 min cool down), 20 min on the elliptical , and 200 crunches & 20 pushups

Tuesday: Turbo Jam Turbo Sculpt 40 min & Turbo Jam 20 min workout, 200 crunches,& 20 pushups

Wednesday: Run 25 min (with warmup & cool down) 20 min on elliptical, and 200 crunches & 20 pushups

Thursday: Run 25 min ( with warmup & cool down) , 200 crunches & 20 pushups

Friday:  Turbo Jam Turbo Sculpt 40 min &Turbo Jam Ab Jam , 200 crunches & 20 pushups

Saturday: Run 30  min ( with warm up & cool down), 20 min on elliptical, 200 crunches & 20 pushups

Sunday:  Rest Day    

As the week goes by my running time will increase with a maximum of 45 min on certain days! Also Thusrday was the extra day added but it is a light workout day.

2nd Quarter:  Eating & Meal Planning 

Stay within my calories no matter what. Eat more fresh fruit and veggies. Eat 5 servings or more.  Jot down everything I eat, even the catchup and barbeque sauce, lol or better yet my son's left overs. If the time permits plan my meals at least one day ahead of time. Plan my execise one week ahead of time.

HALF TIME: Get more sleep! Sleep is very important when it comes to weight loss, and I know I'm lacking big time so my goals is to get more sleep to get in bed no later thhan 9:30 pm on school and workdays! (Starting tomorrow, )

3rd Quarter:  Water

Drink water, and water and more water! Did I mention water? I'm doing good in that department I get in about 10-12 cups of water everyday, however I do slip up here and then but even on my bad days I still get in 6-8 cups.

4th Quarter:  Lose Those Extrapounds

To actually lose weight during this whole process!  LOL I'm not going to set a certain taget weight becaus everytime I do I get disappointed. However I will say I would like to be in the 180's before this month is over! 

Now for rewards. I honestly can''t think of any thing good right now. Any Ideas?  For now  I will treat myself to a music cd and one or two new outfits with shoes!

I think that is pretty much it. I hope I didn't forget anything. Well good night! I feel so focused now.  Can't nothing stop me!

Lost 2 Pounds!

I was hoping for more due to the fac tthat Tom was here last week and my weight remained the same but oh well. At least I did lose.

I woke up 4:30 this morning to exercise, I have been slacking on my exercises in the am so hopefully I can get back on track.

II'm trying to take my exercise to the next level. So I switched things around a bit. I don't want my body getting use to the 190's this is only a short visit. In and Out!

I decided to change my running program afterall. I'm following a new program that requitres me to run for 35 min straight, as the days goe by the time increases. I also decided to add another day of runnign increasing my days of exercise to 6. I felt it was necessary to change things. I'm also going to work on cleaning up my eating, I've been slacking in the veggie department.

Anyhow Todays workout!

Treadmill Run Time 25 min 2.083 miles ( I know slow)

Total Treadmill Time 35 min Including warm up & cool down =2.648 miles =460 cals

Elliptical 20 min = 255 cals

200 crunches & 20 pushups = 45 cals
