Before After

One Month Progress 9 pounds gone 9 inches lost!

So I have sayed consistent for one month now and it feels great. I'm starting to see changes. Slowly but surely!

I've lost a total of 9 pounds and 9 inches. It was great to see the scales move again after 2 weeks of stalling. However I did not that let that discourage me. I know this weight will have no choice but to come off! I have been doing a lot of weight training so I assume that maybe a reason why the scales weren't moving, due to me gaining muscle.

So now I will focus on losing the next 10 pounds!

My plans/goals are still the same. I will workout 5 times a week. Doing weight training on 5 of those days and running mixed with walking on 4 of those days. I will eventually increase my running time to phase out my walking. I need to sign up for a race to keep motivated! Anyhow I will still drink 12 cups of water per day, that's required for my weight. I've been doing great with my portion control. I'm not really on a particular diet just trying to stay away from certain foods like the white stuff, rice, bread, pasta and sugar. However if I can't fight the urge I will allow myself to have a small portion.

I'm on to the next phase in Chalean Extreme. I actually started today. This phase the weights are heavier. I'm excited and scared. I'm excited because I'm sure I will start to see more muscle definition, however I'm scared because I'm sure the scale won't move. I have heard reviews that a lot of people's weight stalls during the 2nphase and melts during the last. So I will hang in there because I know I will reap the benefits in the end.

I hope everyone is hanging in there. Don't give up the fight! You are worth it!

Week 4 on Chalean Extreme

Almost wrapping up month one on Chalean Extreme, and I must say I am seeing changes already. Actually I started seeing changes last week! I'm happy with my workouts but look forward to next month as it changes up a bit!

This week still no weight loss, but no gain either.  I know me doing weight training probably has something to do with this, but that's ok because I know the pounds will soon melt off. Muscle burns fat, right? I can tell that I have lost inches so that is always a bonus!

If I don't see a change next week, I will probably need to reevaluate my eating habits. I may also need to switch up my cardio routine.

I'm happy with the decisions I'm making so far, and looking forward to when I finish Chalean Extreme. I'm so curious what the outcome will be.

I will follow up next week with my total results for the month.

Until next time much love!

Checking In

It's been a minute but all is well.

Had a very busy week last week, don't worry I stayed on top of things. No changes, but I expected that. Just glad that I didn't gain. Now that I'm back to eating I decided to try something new. I decided not to count calories or be on a specific diet.I don't have the time. I'm going to watch and limit what I eat with portion control. By that meaning I'm going to use a small size plate for ALL my meals. (or a small sized bowl, when necessary). I figure my portions should be under control that way. Although I'm not on a particular diet. I figure I should have some type of plan. For breakfast I'm going to try and stick with oatmeal(love it!), healthy cereals or fruit & yogurt. For lunch have meat most likely fish, beans, and veggies. For dinner a salad topped with meat either fish or grilled chicken. My two snacks will be fruit or raw veggies! I know it sounds boring but I don't need much to choose from for now, it just makes things more complicated. I'm going to try my best to leave the white stuff alone, I'm referring to sugar, bread, rice and pasta. I'm addicted to all of it, lol. However if I must have it, it will have to fit on my portion control plate!4 As far as water intake based on my weight I should be drinking about 12 cups of water. So that's my daily goal. I will continue to weight train 5 days a week and walk/run 4 days a week.

Anyhow my start day of the week has now been pushed to Mondays, hopefully it stays that way. Looking forward to post how my week went next Monday.

Be Encouraged!

6lbs down, The end of a great week, and the start of another!

I'm gald to be back! I survived my first week of my weight loss journey!
I'm happy to report that I lost 6 pounds! I know that it's water, however I'm glad its gone. I hope I don't ever see those six pounds again!
I ended my cleanse yesterday. I must say the first and last day was the hardest! I will be reintroducing foods slowly but surely, but for now it's juices, broth, tea, and can't forget refreshing water.
Last week I worked out 6 times. (My week orignally started on a Saturday but has now changed to Sunday)
I walked/ran 4 times, did Chalean Extreme 5 times and Turbo Jam once. I forgot to do my 200 crunches/20 pushups on my off days, however I will write a post it note so I don't forget this week.
This week I plan to do the same thing, I will be busy this week so hopefully I can stay on task.I already started with a great workout. I did my interval training on the treadmill. I walked 3min/ran2min. I increased my running time again. I also did Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 1. I admit it was a little easier this week, than last week. I'm seeing progress in some areas already! Plus my infamuos 200 crunches/20 pushups. I thnink those curnches are really helping I already lost 2 inches off my waist!
Lsst week was successful and I'm looking forward to another great week!
Keep it moving people and don't give up!
Until next time much love!

Working it out!

Even when you don't want to, is when it counts the most! It shows that you pushed when you didn't want to, you pushed on and pushed through when you thought you couldn't.

Didn't want to work out today. I was extremely tired, didn't get much sleep. I felt so slugish today even through the first workout, which was Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 3 (32 mins). I was only going to do that workout today  because I only need one more walk/run for the rest of the week. However something inside kept telling me to push on, I'm glad I did because I got it out the way and I felt great afterwards. I'm still tired, just have a little bit more energy than  I had earlier.

So following the tape I walk /ran on the treadmil in intervals. Plus 200 crunches and 20 pushups. Glad I worked out today I know it will payoff in the end.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Today's Wokout Kicked My Butt!

I think I worked out too much today. It's my fault because I still haven't planned my workouts yet just going with the flow sort of... If I would have known that my workout DVD (Chalean Extreme) Burn Intervals was going to be 45 min, I wouldn't have walked/ran today! Usually I do the tapes first but today as soon as I got back home I jumped on the treadmill! It's all done and over, glad I got it out the way, tomorrow is my rest day. Thank God, however I still plan to do my 200 crunches and 20 push-ups.

Today's workout consisted of

Walking3.5/Running1.5min for a total of 35min.(I added 30 secs onto my run)ChaLean Extreme Burn Intervals 45 min. A combination of weight lifting and cardio. That DVD is no joke, I couldn't hang I did about 85% of the DVD. I know in time I will get better.

Along with that I did the Ab Burner 10 min that also goes along with the DVD series..

As for yesterday

Walked 4min?Ran 1min for a total of 30 min.

Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 2 for 37min?

200 Crunches and 20 Push ups.

Over time I plan to increase my running time and decrease my walking time, until I can at least run for 20-30 min straight. I need to search for races to do so that can also encourage me to do better with my running

I want to give myself a pat on the back for resisting temptation yesterday. Lord knows it was a struggle. I bought Pollo Tropical for the kids. Lets just say Pollo Tropical and their rice is one of my weaknesses!

As for the cleanse, I'm doing quite well. The first day was the hardest, but I believe I'm over the hard part!

Well I hope everyone is doing well,  never give up! You can make if you really want it! This TIME I WANT IT!

Until next time much love!

Off to a good start!

So I did stick to my word and start my weight loss journey (once again) on Saturday(May 1st).

My ultimate goal is to get down to 150lbs. My current weight is 209 lbs. However I'm going to take my goals 10lbs at a time. I think it's more realistic, plus it sound better. The goal doesn't seem so overwhelming. I honestly would like to lose 8-10 pounds a month, but I might be pushing it. We shall see, one way or another I am going to lose this weight once and for all!

My routine exercises will be weight training from the choices of my weight machine, free weights, DVD series Chalean Extreme, and P90X. However right now I'm focusing on Chalean Extreme workout series and P90X after I succeed in Chalean Extreme. As far as cardio, I will either run or use the Turbo Jam workout series(I don't think I'll ever get tired of Turbo Jam). However most of my cardio will be done with running.

I will also be doing my infamous 200 crunches and 20 push-ups daily. I plan to weight train 5 days a week and run 4 days a week. My water intake will be 12 cups of water( it's necessary for my current weight). As far as eating, I'm not, lol. Well not right now anyway. I started with the Master Cleanse. I haven't done this cleanse in a while, it's long overdue. So why not a better time to do, it will help jump start my weight loss! Hopefully I can do this cleanse for a week. It will give me time to figure out what diet/eating plan I may do.

Although I had plenty of time to plan my exercise for this week I have not, I've been taking it one day at a time.(Which is not a good thing). However it has not stopped me from exercising. I WILL get in all my workouts!

My workouts so far...

On Saturday
Chalean Extreme -Burn Circuit 1 36 Min. Burning 375 Cals
Turbo Jam -20 min Workout. Burning 230 Cals
200 crunches & 20 push ups. Burning 55 Cals
Grand Total: 660 Cals Burned

On Sunday
Walk(4min)/Run(1min) Intervals for 30 mins.1.75 miles 275 Cals
200 crunches & 20 push ups 50
Grand Total: 325 Cals Burned

Today was a light day for me. I haven't picked a running program to use. I may just use my own. That could be good or bad, depending on how well I stay disciplined and how well I push myself. I guess I will do it my way first and see how that works out. I plan to do walk/run intervals until I can run 20-30 min without stopping. After that I will add on time/distance.

Well I've written more than planned. It feels good to be back. time to get this show on the road!

Getting in the groove?

I'm having a hard time getting back in the groove of things.

For one it's been almost a year since June/July) since I did any exercise routine.

Two I have been eating any and everything!

Three I haven't ran since last June!

So now you can understand why I'm having a problem.

I have a prefectly good reason for the long time without activity, I was pregnant and recently had a baby. However my 6 weeks is up and I will not continue to let this be an excuse. I am able to exercise again, now I just have to figure out my plans. I know I need to start off slow. That will be hard, but I'm going to try. I already went rollerskating before my 6 weeks were up, I know shame on me but I love skating so much!

I have a few ideas in my head already. I plan to strength train with My Chalene Extream. I love that DVD series. As far as cardio I will start running again. I'll probably use a walk & run program. to start off with, maybe I'll use the C25K again. As far as dieting not really sure yet, but I do know that it has to be done. I would like to get rid of a few punds right away!

My future plans is to get back into yoga and pilates. Also rollerblading and bike riding on the trails. There is so much different activities that I can do, I have no reason to get bored. I can't wait to get started, I pray that this is the last time that I have to start this weight loss journey. this time I will not get pregnant, (lol) and I will succeed!

Now the big decision is when am I going to start?

I plan on starting Sunday, but my b-day is coming up and I want to eat cake! Or maybe I will start May 1st. I know the sooner the better is ideal. But I'm a weird girl and I like to start things at the beginning, for example May 1st, the beginning of the month, or Sunday the beginning of the week. IDK we shall see. I'm sure I will be back posting how my 1st day went.

Well let me finish getting my plans together!

I hope ot reconnect with my old buddies!

Until Next Time Much Love

I'm Back!!!!

Well not actually, I'll be back sometime in April

I've been missing in action due to pregnancy, but it's almost over and when it is you will hear from me, more often.

I so miss running, I so miss exercising.
I so want my body back!
I guess now I'm getting to the point, that I want this pregnancy to be over.
I haven't been blogging or exercising for that matter since I've been pregnant.
(ok well actually about a few weeks ago, I attempted to do a walk away the pounds tape 1 mile and it kicked my butt!, So I thought I may want to cool it until after the pregnancy!)
I should be ashamed of myself!

I have learned that everytime I get into the groove of things and start losing weight I get pregnant! Hopefully this is the last time, because I don't think I can handle another pregnancy! I got really sick again and lost 30 POUNDS!
Why is it that when I get pregnant the weight seems to drop off! Why couldn't it be that easy when I'm not pregnant?

Anyhow I plan to come back and full force! I can't wait!
I miss you guys, it seems that a lot of my friends have stop blogging, but I won't let that stop me from making my goals, maybe I'll make new friends anyway, off to check on those that still blog. Maybe I will revisit and post something before April.

Extreme Workout!

Today I had had to catch up on some workouts that I missed earlier this week.
Not that I was that far behind but due to the fact that I'm going out of town for a few days I wanted to do fewer workouts while away.

Today's workout consisted of:
Chalean's Extreme Burn Circuit 1 and 2 which was about about 37 mins each tape
Followed up with Burn Intervals 45 mins and ab burner which was 10 min
Last but not least on the treadmill for 40 min completing 3 miles!
That is close to 3 hours of working out straight!
I was able to wake up one day before work earlier this week and I ran 3 miles, but it only happened once which is why I'm kind of behind.

I'm almost finished with one month on the program and I can't wait to take photos and measure my progress! I can definitely see and feel a difference.

Anyhow to put the icing on the cake I'm going skating tonight (before I go out of town) to burn even more calories!

Right now I'm pretty much exhausted but I know when it comes time to go skating I will have my energy back, because that's just what I love to do!

I only have two more tape sessions and a run left for the week. I'm sure I can handle that while away, I'm bringing my DVD's and running shoes with me, and substituting my free weights for resistance bands so I will have no excuse!

Anyhow I better get going I need to get a manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows arched before I go out of town.

Hope everyone is having a great week, I will catch up with you all later

Until Next Time Much Love!
