the start of another week
I was surprised to see the scale down a bit this morning. Grateful...but surprised. Had a few bumps in the house last week but I think things are getting sorted out. I am running out of healthy food! Trying to feed all of us with healthy food is very expensive. I need some ideas for inexpensive yet very halthy meals.
Nervously approaching the scale...
I was very nervous this morning knowing it is Weigh in day. I have had a bad week so realistically I knew the scale wouldn't lie. Optimistically - and miraculously - I wanted to see 180. Realistically I just didn't want to go back above 184. I was 182.5. I am pretty pleased considering I really didn't do anything to be awarded with a loss.
Stumbled once or twice....
I thought I was doing really well. I lost 6 pounds in the first 10 days. Then along came a cheesecake! I had two pieces on Saturday. The rest of the weekend was alright but I still had one pound back I couldn't shake. Back on track again...along comes my closest friends 40th birthday. Order a beer - only one. Salad as the main course - good. Dessert - cheesecake bites.
Today is another day!
