Before After

Couldn't keep my promise...

I feel horrible writing this but I can't keep my promise of a more upbeat blog posting from my last post. Although I'll try my best at the end of this post. :)

I don't really have the time or energy to write out a complete synopsis of what's been going on and the reason why I haven't posted in the past two weeks, so I hope you don't mind a really compacted point list with the really low points for now.

- Great Aunt had another heart attack. This is her third. I found out about it last week. Want to go see her but can't because of money and the issue in the next point...

- My cat has blood in his urine, an infection in his mouth, his x-ray turned up nothing, he needs an ultrasound once he is done his antibiotics and surgery on his tooth in the next 2 months max.

- Issues with my family beyond what's going on with my Great Aunt.

- Issues with my Husband's family, that my Husband is dealing with, which has been spilling over into our relationship.

- Trust issues with my Husband, still, which is kind of hitting a peak at the moment.

- I bruised the hell out of my ankle when I kicked my office chair because the thing finally broke on me on Valentine's Day and I reached my limit with that and all of the above and took my frustration out on it (or so I tried) by trying to kick it and failing miserably. It's a really awsome bruise, one of those nice deep ones that take days to show up and possibly months to dissapear. My last deep one on my knee took a week to show up and over to months before it was gone. It had the most amazing colour patterns!

- Then finally, the arm pains/chest pains that I've been having consistantly for the last 3 days, which were keeping me up at night. Went to a walk in clinic this morning and the doctor told me I have more knots in the arm/back/neck then he's ever seen on one person and perscribed me muscle relaxants for the next 30 days.

On a positive note....

I got me some swanky Vancouver 2010 red mittens just in time for the opening ceremonies! :D

And I was lucky enough to be watching the Olympics when two out of our three athletes (Alex Bilodeau and Maelle Ricker (I actually cried after Maelle recieved her gold medal and was singing along to our national anthem, silly of me, I know but I got caught up in the moment and her Mom just looked so proud of her.)) won gold and two out of our three athletes (Jennifer Heil and Marianne St-Gelais (Happy Birthday Marianne!) won silver! :)

So much fun! I hope everyone else is enjoying the Olympics! I know some countires have decided not to cover them as much this year but here in Canada, we are getting all day coverage and I am loving getting the opporitunity to watch when ever I am near the television. :)

Anyway, I hope to start posting more regularly when things calm down. In the mean time, I hope you guys won't mind sporadic posts again for just a little while longer.

Have a great day! :)
