Opening doors!

I had a job interview today that I thought went great!! I will find out if I got the job on Friday. Also I got the Wii Fit Plus hooked up and running. It was really sad for my husbad because he is over the weight limit for the balance board. We know that we have weight issues, but it was really sad to see his face when the game told him he could not play. It also told him that he could not play the Biggest loser game too. When I got on it told me that I weigh 256lbs when I thought I was only 250lbs max! Six pounds doesnt seem like much, but I thought I was only 250lbs and I was ok with it. I knew I needed to do something, but the cut off for me was 260. I always told my self that if I ever got that big then I would stop. Now I'm only one meal away from that. Where did all go wrong? I did play a little and I burned 254 calories so far today. I will probably try to get on there again tonight and do some more. I know that I need to burn more calories than I eat to loose weight, but I was doing the wii for an hr today and only burned 254 calories. It seems like there are not enough hours in the day to burn the calories needed to lose weight. If anyone has any good ideas for me please let me know. I need a diet plan too.
 
Todays Tip: Denial isn't just a river in egypt... If you have a problem face it head on! Do hide from it like I did.

Trying something new

So I flopped on the getting up early and workingout, and then I flopped on the working out thing. I have just purchased the biggest loser game for wii and after weeks of trying to find it.. I have finally got a hold of the balance board!! I'm not sure when I'm going to start this game, but I also have the wii fit plus that I will start maybe tomorrow. I have to figure out how to get it hooked up first! LOL
 
Todays Tip: Find something that works for you. If you try something and it doesnt work, keep trying new things. I have made a decision to get into shape and I'm going to stick to it!!

Fatigue

I'm not sure why I'm so tired, but here lately I cant even stay awake thru the day. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm having to drink coffee in the morning just to stay awake and sometimes after drinking coffee I still fall asleep.. What the crap?! What is wrong with me and how do I make it go away? :o)

Day 11: Feeling a cold approching

I was getting ready to work out last night when I started coughing.. It was awful! It hurt really bad to breath and working out was just not an option. It was weird tho cause I never felt it coming on. I was fine one minute and using my inhaler the next. I feel better today. There is still a tightness in my chest, but I'm still going to try and work out tonight. I'm bumbed about missing my workout though. I was only two days in and I really wanted to keep going.
 
Today's Tip: If you think you can do it, then do it.

Day 10: Feeling ok

I did the workout last night.. This is the first time I have done the video two days in a row.. LOL It did seem like it was getting.. Faster? It was not easier, but it did seem to go by faster. So thats a plus. I also was not feeling the burn with the 2 pound weight so I up it to the 3 pound. Believe me.. one pound makes a difference!! I'm excited about working out again tonight. I keep waiting for it to get easier. :o)
 
Todays Tip: if your not feeling the burn then you should up your game! :o)

Day 9.. Tried my work out at night instead of morning

I worked out last night to the 30 day shread and I feel great this morning. I did feel a difference with out having the coffee, but I did it! And I am not hurting this morning either! I have to admit that I have not done the video sense the first day, until last night.  It was tuff and at one point I had to mute the video cause I was getting really annoyed by Jillians voice.. LOL But I did it and it was great! I think I'm going to sitck to working out at night.When I work out in the morning it makes me tired all day.
 
Todays Tip: Find a time to work out that fits your schedule and your body. If you are to tired then you wont work out, and if you feel like you dont have enough time you might skip it too.

The weekend review

I did not work out this weekend, but I had decided at about 9pm on friday night that I was going to go to Seaworld in Orlando on Saturday with my daughter and the inlaws! I walked around so much on Saturday that I felt like I did not need to work out.. We opened and closed the place! It was so much fun! There was 12 of us that went and it was one of the best weekends ever. My husband could not go cause it was so spur of the moment and he was missed very much. We got to see the walruses mating.. that was nasty! LOL and during the last show of Shamu I sat in the soak zone with the kids and a couple of the adults who deciede to go with me. There are 16 rows of soak zone, and we were the only ones sitting in it. Of course it was 40 degrees outside so that maybe had something to do with. LOL At the end of the show they sent all 5 of the killer whales over to us and they splashed us like 5 times.. We were SOAKED!! LOL it was so cold, but so much fun! I love my family and I love that we all can have so much fun together. :o)
 
As far as the exercizing goes I will resume tonight. Jillian.. You are going down!! LOL

Day 3 and the excuses just keep coming!

I was at the dentist yesterday with my husband and my daughter. My daughter was running around, like two year olds do, and fell. She hit her head on the corner of the chair and then on the floor. She seemed fine other than the cut and huge knot on her head, but her doctor wanted to see her anyway. My daughter is fine, but I did not get home until late and then to bed even later. I did not wake up this morning to work out, because I was tired.
 
I almost did not get on here and post today. I did not want to say to every one that I do not have the will to work out. I did not want to abmit that I dont have the determination. I'm posting anyways cause I want everyone who is joining to know that there will be days that you "fall of the wagon" and days that you feel like you cant do this. You have to be able to pick yourself up and keep going.I sit here and realize that it was just another excuse for me to not work out. Will it ever end? I realize that I am sabotaging my own health. What can I do to help me recognize when I am doing this and how to pull myself out of it, before I miss my workout?
 
Todays Tip: Its not easy.. There will always be something that seems more important than working out, but you need to realize that you are a priority to. Your health and life are just as important if not more important than anything that will come up in your day.

Day 2: And the excuses begin!

I got up this morning at 5 and was ready to workout, only my DVD player did not want to work... I am very upset about this. I literally had to push my self out of bed this morning and then the darn thing doesnt want to work! My legs are hurting from the work out yesterday and I wanted to work them out again today to losen them up. Well thats the story of my life. There is always something that is keeping me from getting in shape and losing weight. I'm not discuraged tho. I am going to buy a new DVD player today and get back on track tomorrow.
 
Today's Tip: Make sure your equiptment is in good condition.

Day 1... Entering the 7th circle of...

Does anyone know when you are supposed to get entergy from working out? I have told my husband this morning that if I fall please do not pick me up.. Just let me sleep! LOL I need some tips. If anyone out there knows what foods I could be eating to help maintain entergy after a work out, Please let me know. Also I have done the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shread video this morning and I am now convienced that she is trying to kill the fat people of the world throught exercise induced workout! LOL No really tho.. It is a great workout. I have some advice tho. I'm not a coffee drinker and never have been. I read somewhere that if you drink a cup of coffee 30 mins before your work out that you will have more entergy for that workout. I have done the video twice before and almost died! I could not keep up with the video and would quit in the middle of it. This morning, however, I had my cup of coffee before the workout and I did complete the entire video. Well there were a few jump-n-jacks at the end that I kind half did, but the rest was good. So there is my advice for the day.. Drink a little coffee if you can and get a better workout. :o)
