New Job

I have been working for the past week and I'm exausted!! I'm in the training process right now and its a lot of information all at once. I sit in a classroom for 8 hrs a day and 5 days a week.. its tuff, but its going to be worth it when I'm finished. The good news is that having something to do for that many hrs a day has kept me eating right, and I find that when I eat healthy I dont fall asleep in class like half the other people.. LOL I will post again in the next few days or maybe next weekend...

Off the topic

I got a job today!!! Might not seem like much, but I have been looking for a job for almost a year now and in today ecconomy.. I'm glad to be working again! :o)

back to my old ways

I went to the Youth Fair intending on trying some things, but for the most part sticking with the life style change that I have made.. that did not last very longs.
 
My husband was eating everything in site and then I thought I would join him. I ate cheesy fires, corn on the cob dipped in butter, fried oreos, fried mushrooms, fudge, gyros, and I tried something new that they had this year...
 
a Krispy Kreem Burger.. It is exactly what it sounds like. a burger with cheese and baccon and instead of a bun it was two donughts... LOL I know what you are thinking, but I wasnt that bad. It seemed so wierd that I had to try it.. My sister in law and I split one for the heck of it and it really wasnt that bad. Its not something that I would crave, but it wasnt that bad.
 
I was going to get back to the healthy eating the next day, but my sister in law was in town for the week and then it was my nieces birthday that weekend so needless to say I did not eay healthy for that week.
 
I had lost 10lbs when I started this last time, and because of that week I gained 6lbs back. I'm back to eating right, but not as excited about it as I was when I first started, but I'm going to stick with it anyway. :o)
 
Todays Tip: Dont go to the Youth Fair!! LOL

The weight loss is at a stand still..

Have not gotten the results back on the MRI, but I'm sure its nothing.
 
I have lost a total of 6lbs in the past week, but Aunt Flow is in town so I have been at a stand still for the past couple of days. :o( I'm going to sitck with it tho.
 
This coming weekend is the Youth Fair and I'm excited to go. We go every year with the inlaws. I love them! Really tho... they are awsome.. couldnt ask for better inlaws. I'm going to stick to my eating healthy even tho there is going to be a lot of good food there. I might have a few bites of this and a few bites of that, but not like usual when I buy whole sandwiches and a dozen fried orieos.. I'm really looking forward to it! :o)
 
Todays Tip: You health doesnt take a vacation. Eat what you want when on vacation, but do it in moderation. And keep up the exercise! :o)

The Results are in!

So my ultrasound came back normal.. No cloggs. But now they are doing a MRI on Friday to test for tumors. I am pretty hopeful that everything will come back ok and my Dr. seems to feel the same way. After that then I will go see a specialist.. I'm feeling much better about this and I'm ready to move on!
 
On an even better note.. I have started a life style change. I am now eating healther foods and limiting my calorie intake to 1820 a day. I eat every 4 hrs to keep myself from getting too hungry and craving things I dont need. I have also been experimenting with new recipies to see what I like and dont like.
 
So far my favorite is the sandwich I am making for my lunches. It is a turky sandwich with lettus, tom, and avacado. The avacado is a great subsatute for mayo cause its still creamy and gives me a serving of the good fats that I need. And its only 50 calories for 3 slices. :o) The bread is my favorite!.. Its a whole grain olive oil and rosemary bread that I found at my local bakery. Its 150 calories for two slices and it is Amazing!! :o)
 
We also got Hannah's bike trailer in and I love that too! It kind of acts like a parachute when the wind is blowing, but thats ok.. LOL
 
I started this life style change five days ago and I have already lost 4 Pounds!! Its not much, but its a start! :o)
 
Today's Tip: If you enjoy what you are eating then you are more likely to continue eating it. :o)

New semptoms..

I was sitting down watching the Medium last night and felt fine, when I stood up to get some water I got extremely dizzy. It lasted for the rest of the night. I could not stand up without feeling like I was going to fall and I could not sit down without leaning to the side.
 
 The woman that was doing my ultrasound asked me if I was experiencing any vertigo, but at the time I was not. When I woke up this morning I was fine, but then this afternoon I was dizzy again.
 
Not sure what this means, if anything.  
 
On a good note, my husband and I are going to start dieting on next monday. We are going to do a low calorie diet. Nothing to extream,, but enough to get us started.
 
We also bought a trailer for Hannah. It will attach to the back of my bike so that she can go with us on our bike trips.. I'm sure she will love it and I'm excited too!!

Todays Tip: If the weather is good then go outside and exercise. You body and mood will thank you! Dont forget your sunscreen! :o) 

More waiting!

I had the ultrasound today. It started out good as the tech was telling me that I am the youngest person she has ever done this kind of ultrasound on. (That didn't really make me feel any better) and then she wend on to tell me that she is sure that she wont find anything.
 
 After the ultrasound; however, she did not say anything to me except that the results will be with my doctor in two day. It normally takes 7 to 10 days to get back to my docotr, but they are putting a rush on it.
 
Not sure what that means, but I'm hoping it is just because my doctor told them he needs the results fast.
 
I am hopefull that nothing is wrong.. I'm feeling very tired tho so I'm going to take a nap with my daughter. :o)

The appointment

I have the appointment set for tomorrow morning.. I will not know the results until 7 to 10 business days after the apt tomorrow.. I will make a post tomorrow and let you all know how its going.

They have not called yet for the appointment. I feel more comforted knowing that they are not rushing this. If they are not worried, then I'm not worried. On a good note.. I love the Wii fit and I'm having so much fun on it. My favorites are the hulahoop and the obstical course. I and doing good on the hulahoop, but I have yet to complete the obsitcal course. LOL I'm having fun trying tho! :o) I have not started a diet yet, but I'm going to soon.

To your health!

For the past few months I have been hearing my heartbeat in my ear. It kind of sounds like a fluid heart beat. The best way to describe it is that it sounds like a woman hooked up to a fetal moniter. I had gone to my primary doctor and he told me that it was alergies and gave me some nasal sprays and an over the counter drug for that. It did not work so my Dr. sent me to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor. My appointment was today and the Dr. there told me that my ears are fine. He thinks the problem is that either my artery in my neck has a blockage, or... There is a tumor growing in my neck that has caused the artery to move to a location that is causing me to hear the heartbeat. Either of these conditions would explain why I am experiencing the extream fatigue. They are going to schedule an ultrasound to determine if they are correct. I dont know what to do. I'm 25 years old. If I have a blockage in my artery because I'm over weight then I am going to be very disapointed in myself.
 
Todays Tip: Just because you do not feel bad now does not mean there is not a problem. People are living their lives over weight with diabeties and not even knowing it. Dr. Oz says that if you take your height in inches and devide it by half, that is how many inches your waist line should be to have good health.
