I am Ready to get back on the Horse!
I have been half on and half off the horse. I moved and just getting situated and then going on vacation to my parents place and the beach. Then my sister came to visit for a week. It pretty much was down hill from there. Luckily I didn't do that much damage. I kept myself pretty active the whole time. Walking long miles and running on the beach. I am not going to make my goal of under 200lbs by August. Tomorrow I will go back to weighing and measuring everything.
Thanks to Pete for asking how I am doing. Where is everyone else? I need your support people.
Thanks

Welcome back! Summertime stinks.
Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE summertime. But from a weight-loss perspective, it stinks big-time. With all the picnics, holidays, get-togethers (none of which have terribly good food, but LOTS of it), I've had a real hard staying focused on an effective diet. (And my scale ain't lying.)
All I can say is, "Hang in there!" I'm guessing if we can stay on track relatively during the summer, we'll be ahead of the game when it comes time to kick it back into high-gear later in the year. You sound like you're still challenging yourself by running on the beach, which is great!
Don't sweat not making your goal by August. It was one heckuva ambitious goal, so cut yourself a little slack. It's more important that you reach your goal someday than to miss what is essentially a made-up date, right? You'll get there, I'm confident.
Keep pressing on!
