Climbing Mt. Si
Yesterday I hiked up a local mountain, Mt Si...It's 4 miles one way with a 4000 foot elevation gain. Since my root canal, and bladder infection, my activity level had gone way down.

Yay! for a weight loss buddy. I think that helps so much to have someone to support you - and give you that little push on days where you just don't want to work out
Sounds like a challenging but very rewarding hike. One of my ultimate goals when I get back in shape is to climb a mountain - I enjoy hiking, plus I love the metaphor as it relates to the weight loss journey.
Well done on toughing it out to the top & yay @ you have a new weight loss buddy! xx
Awesome climb!
Good for you for making it to the top! It's amazing how a simple "just 10 more minutes" from someone who's been there can help make or break the final leg. I felt that way with the 5k portion of the tri. I was so ready to call it a day until one of the women coming back on the last leg told me the turnaround was just around the corner. The walking date sounds fun!
