HOT PASSIONATE SEX

oK...SO ONLY LOSING 15 LBS. HASN'T QUITE PRODUCED ALL THE RESULTS FOR THIS CLYDESDALE, BUT RUNNING IS MUCH EASIER!
2 mile job tonight no problem.  Doctors scale weign in coming up the 6th of February.  Actually alot more at stake than just getting the weight off, as health issues of high blood pressure and chlolesterol are in this as well.  I have stuck to eating a large lunch and then just snacking at dinner time.  Grapes, a handful of almonds and lots of water.  In the last week I turned off the soda pop drinks and I think this had spurred some loss.  I have noticed appetite coming back some in the evening even though still on the phen.  I hope to be under 270 when next weigh in happens.  Once I can get to 260, I remember that weight from a year or two ago, then running and all exercise starts to be fun again.  Appreciate anyone who reads and I hope you too are achieving the goals you seek!  Gotta go...later

New Week

Great chance to start a new week.  I have MLK day off today so will be able to lift weights and run.  I cheated on my not viewing the scale thing and turned in a 280 on my home scale.  Since the Doctor's scale weighs 5 lbs. heavier I am hopeful that means I am somewhere around 285 which is a 5lb reduction this week.  Certainly not biggest loser material, but my pants fit better.

Beautiful day here! 60degrees and all so gong to get active.I have noticed my appetite starting to come back some despite phen usage so now I suppose ignoring cravings and substitution of better foods will begin. The picture I posted is from 10 plus years ago in the tuxedo and erasing the time part is impossible but I set it there as a reminder of how much better I would look and feel at 235lbs. rather than this 280 plus.  I know I can do this I just have to get going again.

Good luck to all...later

So far so good

Sunday morning!  Phen does give me more energy.  I had to referee 6 basketball games yesterday.  Small children playing so just a constant back and forth walking for 6 hours.  However I wasn't hungry and this had to do something positive in calorie reduction.  I am not going to weigh myself until the 6th of February when I have to get back on Doctor's scale.  Hopeful of a big loss at that time.  Today I will run again the two mile course around my home and lift some weights, gently...ha as it has been a while.  With the MLK holiday here this weekend I will have Monday off it any stiffness and soreness from too much.  Bright sunny day in Oklahoma.  Temperature to climb to 60 today so no excuses.  I had oatmeal for breakfast and have stuck to my plan for food intake so far.  I am sure the phen is really working as I have no hunger to as of this the 4th day of taking it.

I am hopeful that anyone else who reads these entries will be encouraged as I am to get a great start and follow through each and every day.  I am sure this will get harder as I go but for now I am satisfied with my efforts.

Have a great day!!

Clydesdale to Thouroughbred Day One

And their off...hopefully the pounds sooner than later.  I am living in Oklahoma and I wish as a Sooner fan I had tackled this weight problem "sooner".  Oh well, I am what I am.

The goal beginning today is to use the phen the doctor prescribed and this new program of eating to reduce this horse to the finish line, going from 290 to 230 in 7 months.  My half way goal being 260 by the Kentucky Derby in early May.

My whole life I have enjoyed running and have participated in 4 marathons.  However, these days its a chore to run to the mailbox and back.  As a lifelong athlete who enjoys all sports I have taken to being a couch potato and watching rather than participating.  I have used my age, and height as an excuse, and now I find any exercise (that was always somewhat fun), to be real work!

Now that the doc says I resemble a poster child picture for heart attack or stroke.  I need to get off my ass and make this happen.  Clydesdale, to plow horse, to quarterhorse, to thouroughbred asap.  I will start by sticking to my diet of a bowl of cherrios cereal and a piece of fruit for breakfast.  Lunch whatever I want to be full, but no fast food.  Dinner will be a portion of grapes, and a salad.  Snacks I will get two per day.  One handful of almonds, and the other snack is an apple or a pear.  No, big meals after 2pm each day and if hungry after 8pm then.....GO TO BED!!!

Exercise will be run/walk two miles a day and work up to running 5-6 miles each day.  I also plan to lift light weights and increase weight as I go.  Work with weights maybe 3 days per week.

So with the above stated plan the gate has opened and "their off".  Today I still feel a little bit like I am sitting on the fence trying to kick this horse out of the starting chute.  I have obeyed my rules and will be running in the cold this evening.  Oh....can't you just snap your fingers and get closer to the goal.  I must stay true to this process for my health and my future.  Actually looking forward to feeling like I did 3-4 years ago when I did weigh 230.  Plus this will do wonders for my high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and risk of other health issues.  Hopefully, I can stay away from using the whip until the home stretch of this journey.  Later.....

Completed the 2 mile run but I felt so slow and it was sooooooooo hard to do!
