Lost 4.5lbs this week and got 3rd Silver Seven - yay!
 
WI normally on Monday but couldn't make it cos of work so it's about a week and a half since last WI

A bad week, but got a loss

Was really pretty bad last week.  After gaining half a pound last week, having been sooo good too, kind of gave up.  Had Chinese three times, and ate all the left overs the next days - which is something I usually never do.  Fell (or rather jumped) off the wagon and had much wine Saturday and Sunday night.
 
Anyway, weighed myself this morning, and I know I shouldn't but I do anyway and reckoned I'd put on about 3 lbs.  Well, worked from home today and ate nothing - I know it's really bad for you but I did.  Drank loads of water and walked down to WW class tonight.  It took 35 mins to get there and I lost 1lb - yippee!
 
I know I shouldn't starve myself but am glad I did now, only down side seems to be that I've got a headache, take it's cos I didn't eat.  Anyway, Monday night is normally takeaway night, but no, I had Chicken Curry and Naan Bread that I had in and am feeling quite pleased with myself.
 
Will really need to get back on board properly with the diet and stop all this nonsense.
 
Was 'off the booze' for 17 days and can honestly say that I ate more than I usually would.  Going to attempt to just have a drink at weekends, but we'll see and I'm not going to berate myself too much if I do.

Half a pound...........

At WI tonight and I've put half a pound on, am gutted!!!  Looking back at my tracker I can't really see why.  Well I need to stay positive so will go for a walk tomorrow, please please please let it stay dry!

Hoping for a dry July

I've decided to try to give up alcohol for the month of July.  Have been saying since New Year that I'll have a month off and have decided to do it now.  Have found this week (I know it's only been 4 days!) that I've actually got a lot more points than normal for food and as such have saved loads of points so far. 
 
Went for a walk round heritage loch this morning.  Stupidly didn't wear any socks - need to get washing done!  So only walked for 45 minutes - that's still 2.5 points though.
 
Anyhoo, it's my birthday at start of next month and then Dad is 60 at end of month, meaning August should have a few days of wine and the like, so thought I'd try to stay dry for July.  I would like to say I'm not missing it, but look at me, I'm blogging on a Saturday night!
 
Let's see how long I can last for.....

Premier

I've done so many diets, tried (and failed) so many times.  Been going to WW for about 10 weeks now and have lost 13lbs so far.  There will be good and bad weeks but hopefully I'll get there!
 
Summary of what's happened so far........
 
Enough's enough, so (re)joined WW.  Used to go to Saturday morning class, but to be honest, then just used to have a bit of a blow out and more often than not it used to follow on to a Sunday blow out too.
 
Class in local hotel on Monday night, so will have to watch more what I do at weekend.  Going with my friend Mother Hubbard, mind you, have been alone if she can't make it.  Also, good time of class - makes me finish work at a reasonable hour.
 
Decided I wasn't buying Monthly Pass as when I looked out all my 'old' stuff, I had at least 3 unopened envelopes - that's over £50 - shocking.
 
Like the new plan folder and weekly tracker sheets, am taking it quite seriously so far.

Week 9 +6.0lbs    Shocking!  It was my TOTM but no real excuse.  Had mega blow out and didn't go to class.  Thought better of it and went to another class on Thursday lunch time. 
Week 10 -5.0lb    Got most of the gain off - yay!
 
Have decided to buy Monthly Pass for financial reasons, classes are £5.50 per week and £17.95 per month - makes sense.  Also, been to Doctor this week and she prescribed Orlistat.  Chemist recommended I buy quarterly pre-paid for prescriptions.  As Tesco say: Every Little Helps.  Had a few dodgy moments, but hopefully it'll really help make a difference
