I am admitting....I had popcorn last night at the "Twilight" movie.  Just couldn't help it.  I'm thinking no big deal, though, since I really didn't have a lunch or dinner yesterday.

Weigh in was good this morning.  I'm still using the nurse's scale here at work.  It said 234!  Cool Beans!!!

Take it how I can get it

Still not sure if my weight loss of 1 1/2 lbs this week was due to eating right & exercise or to the fact that I had the stomach flu for two days and barely ate anything.....

Whatever!!!  I'll take it! :)

I've been trying to stay off the scale until Friday.  That way I don't let the numbers get to me.  Hope all are well!

Well, my Mom called yesterday...invited me to a birthday party for my 80 year old step-great aunt....I have my 17 year Anniversary this Friday....Saturday is my niece Katie's b-day....next week is Thanksgiving which will include at least 2 dinners that I have to "be good" at.  This is about to get rough....real rough!  I can do just fine on my own...can even tell the people at work...naw..I don't need that cookie or don't get me something from McDonalds...I'm ok....BUT when it comes to eating around my family...I fail every time.  I guess this time I should just make it different...be different...and just pack something to eat while I'm there? 

What's worse is I'll get the "look" from them that I get sometimes.  The "she's on a diet, again" look.  After many failed attempts over 20 years to get my act together they've all seen me lose and gain so much I don't think that any of them take me seriously when I try to lose anymore.

I am just going to try to do my best and watch what I eat over the next couple weeks....ignore the looks...and keep on keepin' on.

Whoo-Hoo!

I work in a high school.  The school nurse has a scale in her office.  The real doctor's office types.  Anyways, according to that scale, I'm 238.  Which means my scale here at home is off.  I'm going to start weighing in at work and then posting here.  Can't help but feel lighter (even though I'm not).

I've done really good this week.  Dustin and I went to Dee-Jays Restaurant (which is really nice and a bit expensive) for dinner last night.  I was good and only had a chicken salad.  ...Plus...one little bittie bite of his BBQ Ribs (MMMM!).  I didn't have any bread..and I told them to leave the french fries off my salad.  So, feelin' pretty good this morning.

Day 4

I really like to hop on here and post...but I'm already finding out how difficult it is to keep up on the food diary.  I don't think it's very user-friendly.  Anyone agree?  Plus, I still have yet to commit to a full-on exercise routine.  I just dred it....absolutely dred it.  When someone finally comes up with a way to burn calories by sitting on your butt and blogging all day, they'll be billionaires!!!  I'd pay for it!
