Before After

Constant Roller Coaster....

Gained over the Holidays :(  But, I'm right back on track and trying to get it all back off.  Doing Zumba class a couple times a week with a friend.  I love it!

My First 5K, YAY!

Gettin'er Dunn

Down to 210!! Whoo Hoo!!!  I've been shedding off the pounds by getting on an eliptical machine at work during my lunch break.  I do "just enough" to burn some calories, but really can't break a real good sweat at work.  Then, I would be afraid I'd be the stinky lady of the office the rest of the day.  So, needless to say, I just do it in moderation.

My favorite low-carb find?  Well, now that you've asked, it's bacon....  Yup, just bacon.  I buy the Oscar Mayer ready to serve kind and "mike it" a few times a week for breakfast.  4 slices is only 70 calories, too!!  High sodium content, but I make sure I drink a lot of water when I eat it.  Peeing water weight is much easier than eating carbs and sugars that go straight to the hips and take a bazillion years to get rid of.

I'm no Adkins expert and I'm not giving advice to anyone to eat bacon every morning, but for me...it seems to be working.

Hope all are well in the Extrapounds World....

I suck!

I don't know if it's a hormonal thing or what, but boy have I put some MAJOR trash into my body over the past few days.  I just blew my diet WAY out of the water!

I did better today, though.  Kellogg's protein enriched cereal for breakfast, Eggo Nutrigrain waffle with spray butter & sugar free syrup for lunch, & a salad for dinner.  So, hopefully I can get right back on track.

I'm going to go get on the bike for a few....keep me in your thoughts (please & thank you)

Recovered

I really put my "foot on the pedal" the past couple weeks!  I felt sooo guilty the last time I was on here, so I cranked my exercising up a few notches.  Thanks for all of you who wrote me to encourage me, it REALLY helped!  Especially, you, Suebells!! *hug, hug*

I can't stay on long, hubby trying to sleep...will try to post from work tomorrow...

Toodles!

Ugh...Mad at me...

I'm sooo mad at me.  I'm back up to 220 because I TOTALLY screwed my eating habits last weekend.  I won't even list the ugliness I put into my body, but it was enough to do damage!

I got on my Recumbant Bike yesterday morning, and walked after lunch today.  We'll see if that helps.

Ugh, Ugh, Ugh!!!!

Wrong Way

I've had the wrong way of thinking for so long that I'm still struggling trying to keep my mind on the right way of trying to get this extra person off my body.  I think of food as, not only a source of comfort, but of something to do.  Lately, I've been trying to focus myself on other things...scrapping, being on the computer, etc.  Things that take up my time other than eating.

I even did some arm exercises with my 3-pounders while watching the tube today.  I have to feel good about these little changes, but for some stupid reason, even now, it feels like the old me is standing right behind me saying "why are you doing this?  Are you really going to do this the rest of your life?"

I told the old me to "shut up!"....for today at least :)

Your opinion

I know someone, who will remain nameless (like you would know her anyways! LOL!), that was told by her doctor to eat a 500 calorie a day diet!  To me, that's pratically starving!

Maybe I'm overreacting....what are your thoughts out there?  Should we ALWAYS take a doctor's advice?

Plus, I found this really cute blog for you to try  - http://www.yummydietfood.com/

I need feedback on this extremely low calorie thing....  This person reads this blog, so try to give her the best advice you have!  Thanks!
