Stable but need to break the 99kg floor

Hi everyone,

I've been quite stable lately but this week end was hard! We had a great party at home to watch the world rugby cup and it was difficult not to snack here and there.

Then on Monday was invied by an old friend of mine for diner and had to eat more than usual althogh everything was under control.

Well, the good news is that I'm stable under 100k and have never gone up. It's encouraging but I need to really make some big progress soon.

Also, we have been very busy implementing some last features in Extrapounds such as the possiblity to have pictures and YouTube videos in your posts. This is a very cool feature but it takes time to debug. Hope you like it.

We will post a video showing the EP team soon so  that you can meet us almost live.

So what's the plan for tomorrow?

- Light breakfast
- coffee with milk at 11 am
- Light lunch (salad an chicken)
- snack at 5 pm
- Light dinner.

Whoao my son in Barcelona ...

Stable under 100kg

Although I had to go through several business lunches this week and a party yesterday evening, I was able to control my food intake and stay stable BELOW 100kg.

This is good news and I think I will be able to go below 99 kg soon.

I have also decided to take pictures of myself so that I can really measure the progress.

Sorry I was out of town and had no access to my computer.

I'm back to 99.7 k this morning and I start to feel the difference. Appetite has gone down a lot and I'm much less hungry during the day.

I switched to 5 meals a day which helps me control my hunger. No wine no beer, ... just water. I tried diet coke yesterday and just couldn't drink it. Just too sweet.
Yesterday evening was just a small salad: tomatoes and salmon. Then no hunger.

So the mini goal is 98 k by October 21st and I will do my best to make it happen

What's new here at Extrapounds? I've talked to the programmers and they are adding some nice features such as the possibility to add pictures and YouTube videos in posts so that we'll be able to show how we can dance with 10 kilos less LOL.

99.9 Kilos this morning !!!!!!!!!

Wouaaa for the first time in months I went thru the floor and didn't see 4 digits on the scale.

99.9 Kilos is just great

Good news at least the diet is working.

I need to set-up another mini goal, for instance 98 kilos by october 21st. 2 kilos per month that's more than 4 pounds a month and it seems reasonable.

Less appetite

Ok so today I tried to reduce portions and eat nicely.

Since I live in spain I had some tapas for lunch. Tapas are sort of snacks you would have for lunch. There are all sorts of them but I tried to have only the ones with few fat and no carbos. I enjoyed the meal: started with 2 tapas, ate them slowly, and then picked 2 more .. a last one to finish and hunger was gone.

A big bottle of mineral water and a small dessert. I had the feling of having everything under control which was really nice.

For dinner, grilled meat. I like a comment by panchita in the 'ma santé' forum which says that a portion of meat must fit in the palm of your hand. Hummm good idea and it's really reasonnable. and a yogurt with some honey. Again no hunger.

That's really great to know there has been some progress !!!

week end on the costa brava

Since I'm weighing daily, it's sometimes frustrating to see these little variations going up. Went up from 100.3 to 100.9.

However, I remain confident. I've been good yesterday. I had a great grilled seabass with vegetable on the beach and in the evening grilled steak (hehe small portion) with some rice and vegetable too.

Again, no more wine, just water, water and water. I'm confident I can make my mini-goal by september 21st. Keep you posted.
