I lost 15 pounds in 10 days... Wow. 

Update

I've lost 13 pounds. My symptoms from candida are going away. I barely have any cravings for sugar or yeast. I have a little more than two weeks left for the diet then I can add stuff back in.

Wow

10 pounds lost, and I've barely exercised at all. Changing your diet really does help! I have started walking. I can't believe how out of shape I really am. Walking for 20 minutes never used to be a challenge. I really have let myself go. 


I have been eating 3 servings of lean meat a day, 5 servings of veggies (low carb ones) and i add light olive oil to my veggies. I also eat plenty of eggs (2-3 a day). I have butter and brown rice every now and then. I can't have fruits for a few weeks. I have to get rid of my candida symptoms before I have any sugar. I can start with low sugar fruits like blueberries.

Day 4

I've lost 6 pounds to date. I completely changed my diet. No more processed junk. 

Day 3

I lost 5 lbs instantly after removing the IUD. Water weight? I have no idea but I'm not complaining. I'm going to start adding in exercise now. I'm going to start walking for about 20 minutes a day. After a few days if I'm not in to much pain I'll increase the time to 30 minutes. I might do this 3 or 4 times a week. I hope I can lose enough weight so I can start running again. I don't have the energy right now.

Weight gain

In the last few months I haven't paid any attention to diet or exercise. A few factors also increased my weight gain. I had the Mirena Iud put in. I also have been taking anxiety medications. This caused me to gain 30 lbs. I'm not taking any more medications as of now. I had the Iud taken out. I plan to lose the 30 pounds I've gained. I had to change my diet due to mold and other allergies. I can not eat cheese or drink milk. I am restricted to eating only:
  • Rice, Rice Flour, Rice Pasta (readily available in most supermarkets)
  • Corn Flour (non-wheat flours too, such as potato-most anything without gluten)
  • Chicken (Grilled or baked, breaded with alternative flours)
  • Beef (borderline allergy)
  • Fish and seafood
  • Eggs, quiches
  • Oatmeal, Oats
  • Plain yogurts 
  • Popcorn
  • Soups (homemade is best, avoid msg)
  • Potatoes (in moderation)
  • Nuts, seeds
  • Vegetables, vegetables, vegetables
  • Teas
  • Water (lots of water!)
  • In about two weeks I can add in low sugar fruits, such as blueberries.

    I have to avoid all Grains for two weeks. I can eat Whole Grains with no honey, yeast, or sugar. Reintroduce 1 at a time.

    From April to October I can not eat the following due to Timothy Grass and Meadow Fescue Grass allergies:
    • Apples
    • Carrots
    • Celery
    • Legumes
    • Cottonseed
    • Beans
    • Peas
    • Soybeans
    • Cooking Fats
    From July to November I can not eat the following due to an allergy to Dandelion:
    • Melons
