Another 24 hours done!

Broke a sweat and stayed on track!! Feels really good to get back into running again! Hard to believe that I have missed it.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Wow-it is the end of May already! Hard to believe isn’t it?

We have such a busy, crazy, fun and excited weekend ahead of us!

My dad turns 70 and we have a weekend of surprises for him.

Today my sister from Kansas comes in with her family. (Which he doesn’t know about)

Tomorrow my dad sister from Nebraska comes in to town with his husband. (Which he doesn’t know about?)

A dinner on Sunday for him (he does know about that) and a surprise party at 2! (Which he doesn’t know about either!) We hope at least!!

Another aunt and uncle have been here since Wednesday-that he did know about.

To add to all of that are 2 graduation parties and another birthday party!

So to say the least there will be more than one opportunity to over indulgence!!  I made my menu of things I am taking to all the gathers we are having and I have chosen Hungry Girl recipes or low cal, low fat recipes!! Good for me!!

The plan of action is…..drum roll….

Small portions!!

Don’t get over stuffed!!

Take water!!

And remember after all is said and done how will I feel waking up and looking back on my weekend (as far as eating goes!)!!

No crap goes in this mouth!! Not good for me, don't need it! Isn't going to make my body refuel, I dont need it! It is not worth it.

CRAP!

My new motto- If it is CRAP!! I don’t eat it!! If it is good for me I do!!

 

Not that hard to do! At least it doesn’t sound hard doesn’t it!? Then why do I look at food differently than the above? We do I look at it to fill something in a different way than what it was intended to fill…..my stomach! That is what food is for to fuel my body, nothing else! No covering up pain, a bad day, stress etc.

So stop it!! Feel the feeling and let it go!

ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

Truth is, I work better when I have some accountability! Yep, that would be me!

I have not had my laptop for about two weeks! I have not been able to upload my MM band information. I was entering in my food but last week I just stopped. Which means, no accountability and things went down hill. I did work out, which normally is not my issue.

So-no weigh in for me today. Did pick up my JC food and will start anew today!

The sun is shining today!! So tired of cold and rain!!!
 
Yesterday I had a great day of eating and working out!
 
Good things-
1. Jeans are fitting looser!
2. More confident!
3. Able to move better!
4. Stomach is looking smaller!

Wednesday-

Half way to the weekend!
I didn't get to the gym in time to do my 40 minute walk like I wanted to but I did get ten minutes in before class. I stayed after and did 30 more mintues.
Tonight I am planning on getting 45 minutes of walking in before my cardio class! Chili is in the crock pot so hubby and niece can eat before I get home.
Things are going well and we are all adjusting.
As for me-trying to stay focused on health! I am worth the fight in losing weight and am welling to keep up with positive thoughts and let my mind go to a place that I would like to follow!
