Bonus to not having a phone
I never realized how many times I consider calling for food delivery. When I was really tired I would think, "Oh, what the heck, I'll order....", go to pick up the phone to call.....damn! I had forgotten.
On my birthday my bff took me to a ladies night out at her church at a local coffee house. They were introducing there fall semester of small groups. I decided to walk on the wild side and sign up for a group called the Cuisine Queens. It is a group of gals that will meet for dinner, once a month, to experiment w/ international foods.
Our first night out is next week. We will be meeting at a local Thai restaurant. Suggestions? Suggestions anyone? I am hoping to be able to make some healthyish choices--I just don't know if I will be able to convey that to the server.
My goal for this next week is to return to Zumba. I haven't gone for about 4 wks. No more excuses. The weather had really cooled down. I can almost breathe when I come out of my ofcs at night.
Tonight I experienced my first purse party. I was the first to get there. The purse lady wasn't there yet so I just sat down, patiently in the living room, waiting for her to set up. Little did I know that they other ladies were totally going thru the totes as she brought them from her car. It was MAYHEM! Elbows and purses were flying--I have never seen anything like it.
I walked out w/o making a purchase. The only one I really liked got scarfed up before I made it into the room where she was attempting to set up. The night was not a total loss--Jen, the hostess, offered snacks. I had the most amazing Key Lime cheeseball. I don't know what the calorie count was; however, it would definitely liven up low fat or no fat cream cheese.
Great to be home!
