Hey blogees...thanks for all your comments and support. Well the last 2 weigh ins were bitter sweet. I gained 3lbs just like I thought I would from eating off the diet and the water weight and salt intake. However I lost the 3lbs the next week. So I am back even and staying on track. I am drinking more water, thanks to the site Endurer showed me. I am focusing on getting the diet down right now and then I will incorporate more excercise into the program when I have more time. I am doing better about if I eat something off the diet, then deduct it from the foods I am schedule to eat. Like I at a fried (bad..I know) chix sandwhich from Chic fil a with wheat bread and mayo for Lunch and I did not eat my JC dinner. I just ate my snacks and salad so I wouldn't go over my calories for the day and fat intake. I am going to the State Fair this weekend and it is on and poppin. I already told the JC consultant what I am planning on eating. I am eating at least one hot dog (preferebly Turkey), steak fries, and corn on the cob (dipped in butter) . Mmmm good!!!! After I get that I am happy. I will exercise extra hard to omit some meals to balance the calories. We will see how the scale likes that!! LOL!
Well, thankfully I did not gain anything last week but I only lost 1 pound. I guess that is good. I got used to losing at least 2-3 pounds a week in the beginning and got excited. Now I think I am losing my excitement. I need to step my game up. I did a day more exercise this week. That is where my problem is. Let's pray the scale is merciful to me on Saturday. One thing I notice was that I toggle water weight alot. I am drinking at least 2L a day, probably could drink more, but I don't understand why I retain fluid so much when it is not that "time of the month." Any suggestions....
Hey I'm back...I know it has been a few days since I posted a blog. Anyway the diet is going great still! I am still enjoying the food. I did a day more exercise than last week...so I am making progress. I weigh in tomorrow...cross your fingers and say a prayer. I betta had lost...I ain't taking no measly 0.6lbs like last week. This has been a long week for me. I am so glad it is friday!
Time to party! As I was commenting to PreciousWade about Chick-fil-A salads, I found out how many calories was in the strip salad and the ranch dressing. I almost cried! If you add some croutons and sunflower seeds you up to about 600kcal. I have to stop eating the ranch dressing...but it is so good, and I can't stand the lite (too salty). I guess I will have to either get the lite italian dressing (yuk) or the raspberry vinaigrette which I actually like and leave those croutons and seeds alone. Has anyone tried fat free Ranch (by HiddenValley, I won't eat any other kind)...how is that?
I think this site is so cute and encouraging for people really trying to lose weight. I am currently on Jenny Craig. Loving it! The food is great and I lose at least 2lbs each week. It is so easy, you pick a meal plan and they give you the food and tell you when to eat it. How simple is that! All you provide are the dairy, fresh fruits, and veggies. This is the first diet I have honestly stuck with without cheating with noticable results. I can tell a big difference in my energy and my attitude. NO MORE EMOTIONAL EATING!!!! I am so excited about Jenny Craig. I would recommend this diet to everyone. I am slowly on my way to being a Slim ThickDiva. LOL! I love my curves, I just want them to be more defined. The only challenge I have had since starting the diet is incorporating regular excercise. Other than 2 days a week and the weekend, I don't have time to workout and when I do get a break, I just want to RELAX and be lazy! I can do better and I will. I wish everyone the best of luck with their weight loss plan and congratulations to everyone for taking the first step to change their lives for the better.
