- Wii Fit comes with the Wii Balance Board and requires a Wii console to play. Wii console sold separately.
- Wii Fit combines fitness with fun and is designed for everyone, young and old. Wii Fit players work towards personal fitness goals and they block soccer balls, swivel hips to power hoop twirls, and go big on ski jumps to get themselves there.
- Check your daily progress, set goals, check your Wii Fit Age, and even enter exercise time you've done outside of Wii Fit.
- Wii Fit Age is measured by factoring the user's BMI reading, testing the user's center of gravity and conducting quick balance tests.
- Training is at the core of Wii Fit. You can spend as much (or as little) time as you want trying out all of the 40+ activities Wii Fit offers.

I would say I do about 50/50 cardio and other activities, usually do it 1 1/2 hours a couple times a week, and I go to the gym twice a week. I've lost 20 pounds since mid-December, but more importantly, it gets me off my couch on the 5 out of 7 days a week that I just can't make myself get to the gym. One criticism is that you really learn to master most of the games/activities and it doesn't really grow with you. But there are lots of other higher intensity games - like boxing, cardio, yoga - that you can get to keep you interested. I just got a boxing game that's so much more intense than the Wii Fit boxing!

It makes me move and I LOVE that about it -- plus it's enormously fun. No, it's not a full complete workout really, but it's darned good for a game-like thing |

I think Im going to have to try Active as well and mix it up a bit. |
