Unlike over-the-counter diet products, the prescription appetite suppressant
phentermine is approved by the FDA. And because it's been on the market for half
a century, physicians are very familiar with it.
Phentermine is normally prescribed for people who have a BMI of greater than 30 and who have not been able to lose wieght through diet and exercise alone. It is intended for short term use of no longer than 3 months and it is recommeded that taking the medication be accompanied by a calorie reduced diet and regular exercise.

The first nights I had difficulty sleeping, but I also drank two cups of coffee. 1 from home and 1 from starbucks (Venti Half Decaf). 2nd night I slept just fine. 1st day I needed to do something. I was completely energized and wanted to work it off. I got home after a 10 hr work day and went for a light jog, fast walk. (1 .25 mi). 2nd day was uneventful. It has suppressed my appetite, but I ate 5 small meals the first day and the 2nd day i ate 1 small breakfast and two meal sin the evening. Felt like crap. Today I will try the 5 meals again. This will be my first weight check in 3 days. Probably too early to rate, but so far 3 it is. |
