Posted by: Carole in Boston Date: 07/29/2011 22:43 Rating: No WAY! All their clothing is so "low-cut"! Why? Some of us are looking for clothes for work and we're not so interested in "advertising". It's like, "Sure, I'm FAT. But just look at the size of these BOOBS!
Also, I agree that they charge way too much for the quality they have, sale or no sale. Their costume jewelry is decent, I guess.
To each his or her own, I say, but I generally skip LB...at least in the Boston area. |

They USED TO have the best quality (right now, I have on a 12 year old sweatshirt that still has it's color!!), but since bought by Charming Shoppes, it has gone to hell in a hand basket! Their fit is no longer true, their quality is crappy, to say the least, and their prices are WAAAAYYYYY out of line! They no longer want or choose to cater to anyone over the age of 25 and it ticks me off! Oh, I used to work in an LB store, but when they started going downhill, I left.

The selection is incredible for my size.Colors beyond beige and white,and textures, a few prints, and a wonderful back smoothing band. The prices on bras aren't great, but they have sales frequently that make up for it. If they don't have the color you want in store they'll ship it to you for free. My only complaints, one style I bought is glued instead of sewn and fell apart before they lost their support. I also have yet to see demi cup style, so I usually resort to wearing bras below my size in order to wear most low cut tops. |

2. you can always find a coupon
3. their sale rack is decent
Bad qualities
1. I hate the price.
2. There are not many petite height pants....I don't want to have to pay
money to alter the wide bottom long pants they sell. |

I shop there because they offer petite pants and different cuts of pants. However, most of the tops I've bought there have not held up to laundering. It always looks great in the store, but looks shabby a couple of weeks later. It seems like basic sweatshop quality. I never pay full price for anything there; sales come around frequently. |
