I have a love/hate relationship with Junonia. I LOVE that they use plus size models. I love that they have really cute work out clothes that actually make me want to work out! In my experience I have not had any sizing problems and the quality seems as good or even better than other plus size clothiers.

BUT, they are way overpriced. They charge twice as much as other places like "Just My Size" and "Avenue" for similar items. I also am disappointed in their customer service. I ordered from them many times with no problems, but the one time I had a problem they were very unhelpful.

They sent me someone elses' order and that person received mine. I called and they said they would fix it, but would not send my original order until the other person sent it back! It took me two weeks to get my order. When I asked if they would refund my shipping because of the frustration and time their mistake cost me, the CS agent actually told me no because they were already not charging me the extra shipping to send my package the second time. Like I should be happy they didn't charge me shipping twice for THEIR mistake. After that I just didn't want to deal with them anymore.

I have bought several things from Junonia but have been unable to wear most of them due to sizing inconsistencies. I got a plain white workout shirt that was good and had sizing that matched their size chart. However, most everything else I bought (including an expensive winter coat) was way too big. I'm 5'4" and have an "apple" body. It seems that their base model sizing gets taller as it gets wider. If I buy their clothes to fit my bust and waist, the item seems to be sized to fit someone 6' tall. If you are both big AND tall, this could be the place for you. Also, the pricing is inflated, IMHO, but we know there isn't much competition in the plus-size workout clothes area, so they can charge what they want.
