What an amazing workout for such a short amount of time.  I love that all of the individual exercises are for very short bursts.   I think of giving up and then think, I can do anything for a minute.  (anything but push ups)  I am very excited to see how effective this is.

This workout leaves me sore and sweaty! I love the feeling of actually having WORKED. I agree that it is not the best if you have knee issues. The lunges are hard for me but I try to push through them but not go as deep. I really like how straight forward this workout is and Jillian doesn't mess around. Each minute counts. I have only done Workout 1 3x but I can't wait to move on to the next two workouts. I would definitely recommend this DVD.

Gwynn...I did the butt kicks like the girl on the right of the screen. With my bad leg, I did not kick my butt - just hopped a bit. Skipping modification for me was simply doing small jumps, not high ones. And a couple times when I felt a strain, I didn't come off the floor at all...just bounced gently but still doing all the skipping movements (muscles tight). When it eased off, I hopped again. I now have a good supportive knee brace, so can go back to workouts full tilt.

I was glad to see the knee comment. My knees have not bothered me since I started running but after doing this DVD one time both of my knees hurt me so badly I had a hard time walking for a couple of days. I'm not really sure how you can modify things like jumping rope and those butt kicks to make them lower impact on the knees.

I also have a bad knee, but I wrap it well and modify that exercise  - then really give 'er on the other exersises. I love this DVD - couldn't believe the seat I worked up in only 20 minutes...my heart was really pumping!
