I was on the prescription strength(double what you get over the counter) about 4 years ago. I found it very helpful. The only problem I had was the cost . When I first started taking it  my drug plan through work covered it but then they stopped. It keep you on track ...there is no way to avoid the side effects if you slip up. So if are committed to low fat diet it is worth a try. But be prepared to be very strict with spreading out your fat grams through the day. No saving them for the one special meal because you will regret it.

The first reviewer is right. People you ONLY get the oil if you go OVER your fat intake. That is the whole purpose behind this pill. To help encourage you to not eat so much fat-not to eat whatever you want and expect this to be a magic pill.

I lost 15lbs using it for a couple months, but haven't bought any more pills simply because money is a little tight and I got lazy. But it does work-worked for me-No oily gas either.

You only get the nasty oil gas if you go over the fat intake! It's all about control, so if you are ready, GO FOR IT! There is a preparedness test on the website you can take as well. I lost 50 pounds in less than a year... totally worth it.

Easy to take and great visual experience, Alli is great if you like to crap yourself.  Even a tiny bit of gas that slips out can eject a large amount of oil (the fat that wasnt absorbed into your body) onto whatever pants your wearing.  Right through the undies! LOL!!!!
